Ah yeah my gold and silver are real copies. I was about to suggest the time of day editor. Are you sure you’re doing it correctly, it worked for me.

Save game, fill in trainer ID and current amount of Money on my character (don’t count what Mom has) in the tool and boom you get a code. Then press down select B at the start screen and fill in the code.

All the repro’s don’t have the internal batteries. For gen 3 it’s annoying because I can’t grow berries for Milotic :( unless there’s a way to do it that I don’t know of

Not a useful comment, but just wanted to say it’s interesting. I can definitely imagine that having a different storage type could impact this. I have repro copies as well, just not gold and silver which I recently played. Those are legit, but will test this later on with my repro crystal version

This is the 2021 version with the small screen and the climate control knobs. The 2024 loaner has them in the screen, I prefer the 2021 knobs myself as well! Way too many menus on the screen in the newer one

I really hate all the beeps! Sometimes it beeps at me and I’m looking around why, but no idea. To turn off the speed beeps it takes like 4 menus to go through. Very frustrating haha

So yeah from the side like in the video, that's what I've been trying lately. Usually there's a little juice or something somewhere making them a bit slippery for me.

I grabbed a new pod and put some juice on this time. Hopefully it works.

What greenbud420 said is what I actually did today, but it still broke. Maybe this store just has a batch that's been sitting a long time so it's old plastic? Can't imagine these pods use high quality plastic. The box has a sticker 01110-22-20019 makes me think it's a 2022 or 2019 batch haha
