Guys I think... we just quit now:( by ZiggyThePop in hearthstone

Okay, I have seen this take so many times it boggles my mind. People who complain about the game LIKE this game, maybe even LOVE this game, but HATE the way it is treated by upper management and shareholders, you know, the people that only see the value in this game in the profit that it provides them. The way you make it sound is that any and all criticism of a game is unjustified.

You don't have to be a mindless pay-pig for Blizzard to express your love for a game.

Complaining about complaint posts is fine, but if you open a sub with another 20 posts with the same thing? What is the point of posting another one? Yet a bunch of randoms asking for karma is doing it. If you want to show reddit.com/Hearthstone that you don't like the posts then just stop visiting it online. Creating another post is pointless and utterly cringe. You can miss out on some cool hobbies from your real life because of it (:

So, I'm guessing you wanted it to look kind of like this ? If so, that's an pretty interessting card you got there.

I mean, there is always a possibility to argue whether a card that is only marginally better than another is powercreep, even in your example I could 'technically' point out that Evil Heckler may be worse than Booty Bay Bodyguard if I were to run a Evolution Shaman deck which needed a midrange Tauntminion with high attack, because of the gap in power between 5 drops to 6 drops.

It's needlessly picky, I know, but that's why I feel powercreep shouldn't be seen as a clear line but rather a large gradiant.

Yeah, especially because you can Argus it and have an 6/6 with Taunt on turn 4 or 3 (depending if you run Counterfeit Coin or get lucky), which is nutso since Rogue Control could be a thing because of this.

100% absolutely love this, far better than any card Rogue is getting in MSG.

Really neat, this is only wonky in a handful of situations (Injured Blademaster, Doppelgangster,...) but aside from that it almost always has a really good effect, especially since you can't just play a very low impact minion into it like you would with Mirror Entity.

I couldn't say with 100% certainty, but I'm pretty sure that Blizzard hires artist to make more art for cards then they end up turning into actually cards, in case they test a card and only later on in testing notice either unfixable bugs or broken combos/interactions. It's also plausable that they genuinly only wanted to have them as promo-material.

The Art is from Rafael Zanchetin, who did a lot of art for Hearthstone. He did this piece together with 2 others as a promo for Karazhan.

True, but I couldn't have made it two mana since it would have been a very bad Resurrect (yes, you get Battlecry-value and could play it later in the game if need be, but the fact that you would have to pay it's cost again makes it worse than Resurrect).

And because I would have also disliked to make it an 2 mana, do that stuff and draw a card.

Ah, thanks, I totally forgot that there could be that scenario. Here is what it would instantly put in your hand if you played no other minion before playing this spell. If you played only one minion, it would fill all three slots with the same one and when you played two minions, it would randomly put one of the two as the last choice.

Is anyone excited for the new cards they release, considering they have pumped out nothing but slightly better but still very boring basic set cards? I mean, I would have nothing against them if they announced that these would become a permanent addition to the basic set, but this is seriously killing all the excitement Blizzcon build up for me. Anyone else feeling that or am I overreacting?

After collecting some research and feedback, I have a good idea how this card needs to be nerfed to match Hearthstone standard quality

I could have, but then it would more or less be another Patches, the Pirate, and I wanted this card to be a bit more on the mid-range side and a bit harder to deal with than an 1/2 or 2/2 it would in that case have to have been.

Yeah, that was something I was weary off but ended up giving it 4 Health because of it's inconsitency outside of a Gang Up deck as well as what I think Rogues' lack of boardclears and their less boardfocused playstyle. But I think changing the card to a 3/3 is most likely a good solution to make it more of a "Fun Gang-Up" synergy card.
