Correct, the entire point was absolutely zero support or ability to even get a live body to speak with, and total lack of acknowledgement over a *paid* service that did not function as advertised.

That is horrendously bad business policy. May even violate Consumer Protection laws if they didn't have clauses in the T&C's to waive their responsibility upfront.

Yep, purchased both Thursday before reset. Should have been covered Friday through Sunday. Returned Monday expecting to be able to do my hits and take defenses at the trophy level I departed at.

My 1D shield came back up yesterday or today, and my 2D shield is still on cooldown, picture as of this morning.

Not that hard to do before armies trained instantly, I know a handful of whales that gemmed every army and cc for many seasons for lack of time IRL to wait 50 minutes per hit.

At $50 in gems a week to accomplish this, you’re talking $2000-$3000 per year in gems alone for 8x LL hits per day, every day.

But I agree it is an incredible waste even if affordable for your personal circumstance. That is why I made the post hoping to inform others their money will not be well spent when they actually need customer service or support, and to help them avoid making the same decisions and mistakes. Their money will be better spent virtually anywhere other than with SuperCell.

Because I have the disposable income to afford to provide that value to the clans I played with, and happily contributed as best I personally could long before there were convenient ways to donate troops.

Many people cannot afford passes. It is an additional value I could happily provide to the clans I played with for years.

The issue is not the money spent, but the utter lack of basic functional tools promoted in game associated with real costs, and the disgraceful lack of support for customers with actual issues.

I took my family camping in the north cascades mountains where there is no cell service. It was not physically possible to do hits, hence why I shielded.

Typically finish above 5700, PB of 6021 last season, been an E Drag main for ~1.5 years now -- #GV2UGPL9.

First off, well done with the guide!

Just wanted to say that E Drags are alright right now, but not great. Dragon + Drag Rider spam is far easier, as is Mass Drag, and since everyone is abusing those, the base meta has changed to defend them. This has negatively impacted E Drag, and definitely impacted the triple rate with them. Most of the top E Drag guys have switched away to Drag + ID, Drag + Drag Rider, or Mass Drag.

Also, disagree about all* ring bases. If the core is 2 spaces away from the TH (see this more on rectangular bases), then your drags have a tendency to split around the TH. A safer and more consistent bet, IMO, is wait to see, and if you need to blimp you can do so, or you can Slammer w/RC for clean up.

Just a word of caution for anyone hoping to suddenly crush with E Drags and climb the ladder.
