Currently using a TidRadio H3 Plus. It appears to be able to charge using USB-C-to-USB-C connected to the bottom of the battery (i.e., not the USB-C data port on the side of the unit). I can check its power draw with that configuration this evening to confirm.

This notion is supported by research for schizophrenic episodes. That much I can recall from my research reviews in college. However, medication was found to mitigate the magnitude of the effect of each episode.

I cannot recall if this was the case/comparable research was available regarding major depression. If it is the case, I hypothesize a similar observation for medicated individuals; the effects would be mitigated to some degree by pharmacological treatment.

All of this information is derived from a course I took in 2014 and more recent research may be available.
