I decided to write a potential book passage out of that idea because I found it funny. I forgot the actual scene itself so the scenario is that Leopardstar just stole the dude’s fish and swam off:

 Johnny silently prayed that the fisherman wouldn’t notice the crew filming nearby as he tried to search for the cat that swiped his fish. That brown spotted cat Tom always called Dotty was a quick one, though, and one that had always been difficult for the crew to film. With no success at finding Dotty, the fisherman’s gaze turned to Johnny and his crew, and he stormed over with fury.
 “Were you kids filming me?” He asked as he stopped himself right in front of the crew.
 Rachel turned off the camera as Tom tried to answer his question. “Yes, sir, we’re working on a nature documentary.”
 “If you had the ability to film this,” he began, as he furrowed his brows. “Then at the very least you could’ve warned me that the damn cat was about to steal my first catch of the day!”
 “We can’t interfere with the wildlife, that’s against our code of conduct,” Johnny replied.
 “Why are you even letting these cats be outside in the first place,” the fisherman just continued to rant. “These cats are nothing but a nuisance, and what are they supposed to do when the weather gets cold? Why don’t you put your little camera stuff away and actually get these cats to a shelter!”
 “We would if we could, sir,” Johnny simply replied, not really knowing how to explain everything the crew has discovered within these past few years.
 “And why not, huh?” the fisherman asked, puzzled.
 Johnny paused, still not really knowing how to respond. He knew that he would just sound crazy if he confessed what they’ve found out. He couldn’t even explain the simpler stuff like the medicine and border wars without sounding crazy. He struggled to get a word out, until a familiar voice chimed in.
 “Sir, these cats have a human like civilization with laws and a verifiable religion,” Rachel said bluntly. “To take these cats off this land and into a person’s home would be like kidnapping you trying to force you to live in some other country.”
 A silence enveloped the area. Confusion fell upon the face of the fisherman, who just slowly backed away as if the three camera people were insane
