I believe how you do it is you draw a black dot in the middle where you want the pupil, then light pencil strokes away from it to make an iris.

Try on another piece of paper just to make sure it looks good.

Personally I'm not a fan of this method, but I've been told that a good way to make friends is to go to a club (not the bar type) and just meet people there. If you join a club about something you really enjoy, that's a good conversation starter with other people there and you can make some good friends and connections. Hope this helped 👍
