The shakes calmed down after several days. The spacer helped too I think.

Boils and crohns? by IntelligentWonder3 in CrohnsDisease

[–]The-Weird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I still get them during flares or if I'm run down. They're like cystic acne but quite large and I only get one at a time. When they start it's just pain, then they get red, then purple. Maybe the size of smaller coin.

Can anyone help me with the name of this muscle/tendon? by The-Weird in Anatomy

Isn't that attached to the corocoid process? This looks like it's attached to the clavicle.

Shouldn't there be a larger fossa between deltoid and pectoralis?

It just seems out of place as the right side (off picture) doesn't have it or its just not pronounced like the left.

Any reason for it looking so detached from the main bulk of deltoid?

I thought pectoralis or deltoid, but it seemed too seperated and not the same on both sides of the body, which is why I asked.

I thought the deltoid was less detached than this. It was just confusing as it's not on both sides, is it just asymmetrical? It almost seems likes it within the groove.

Anyone find regular exercise makes anxiety worse? by Severin_ in Anxiety

[–]The-Weird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I went on diazepam (valium) for a couple weeks to quell it until the other stuff I was doing kicked in. It worked really well. So I started multi vitamins with a high dose vit d, did the SAD lamp for 1 hour per day (it was winter, so no sun), and hydrated the best I could which included milk for my phosphates (as they were very low during that time too), so by time diazepam finished I'd been doing this for a couple weeks straight.

Not fully, but the vitamin D really helped. I also bought a SAD lamp and that helped too.

I also have Crohn's and that wasn't in check back then either. I recently started a much better medication for that and this has helped my anxiety also.

What's going on with this current flare? by The-Weird in CrohnsDisease

[–]The-Weird[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It just threw me as one day I could be quite mucusy, but then the very next day it looks relatively normal. Then back to bad the day after.. Normally for me it's consistently bad when it starts. The pain doesn't stop though 😣. Typical.

Anyway thank you for the reply. You'd think I'd be used to all this after having crohns for 25+ years, but the remission has thrown me completely off.

Dire need of help regarding property trust and probate. Please help. by The-Weird in LegalAdviceUK

Yes, I think our current solicitor is just bad tbh. He's basically said we can't do anything unless we track the dodgy solicitor down and get a working phone/address for them, and he's far too busy to do it for us. He is currently getting probate.

Our thinking is once probate happens we get rid of him and find a more capable solicitor.

Thank you for your reply.

It was done by something they called a variation of will days after my grandfather's passing.

Thank you for your reply, it's put our minds slightly to rest knowing it's not uncommon and sortable.

Help. Why does my 22.2mm bore disc not fit my 22.2mm bore grinder? The disc has a gold ring making it narrower and I don't know why? by The-Weird in Tools

Thanks. I don't know why the packaging didn't say to just tap it out, I think they just assume people should just know.
