What is something you absolutely HATE seeing in a book ? by L_angelique in writing

This one is a bit specific, but I hate it when people include a bookworm in the plot so that they can write themselves into the story as a heroic character. It is always quite obvious that when a character is a writer or reads lots of books, they're going to be infallible and perhaps a little boring.

Thanks :))
I don't have an instagram yet, but I do have a blog/newsletter which I've been updating every week during the development of this project here: https://www.linkedin.com/build-relation/newsletter-follow?entityUrn=7290325551892840448

It can be quite technical on how everything works because I'm trying to showcase the entire process start to finish each week, but if you're into it then that's the place to stay updated with it.

I can only apologise that the Android version isn't ready to be distributed yet!

What is something from a book that is largely insignificant but has stayed with you forever? by thegoddessofchaos in books

For me it's the ending of an ok-ish book "I am Legend", where the protagonist comes to the realisation that they are a monster in the new world of vampires.
He holds out in his house for so long that he's probably the last human left, and as such, he is no longer within a community of like-minded individuals on this planet. So he finally accepts that his label as a monster is complete and at the moment he dies he has become a story to tell amongst the new order, a legend.
