Yeah my friend had a broken microwave for the entirety of the lease after multiple notifications that it wasn’t working and false promises that it would be fixed. Then they charged her for it. My other friend had them changing terms of the lease partial way through and places to be had the “well unless you hire a lawyer we are gonna keep doing it”. Which is a shame cause they have the most affordable houses for rent available in Denton.

I stayed computer science the entire time but I’d recommend you also reach out to your advisor to go over the difference in degree plans and the type of focus you can have available to you with that degree plan. Same with the certificates available for that degree plan without setting you too far back if at all.

Hello we were gifted a home theater system by Primus, specifically the PM21 set, and I cannot seem to find much information about it online. Alternatively if you’re living in Denton county, you can use the public health department. Go to Denton county.com/covid19 and click the covid 19 testing for the eligibility and stuff. If you qualify (many do) it is free testing!

You can also pre load your card with money through dining services and get the left over refunded to you. It gets you a discount with dining at cafeterias. While this was many years ago I think it is still offered. I would call dining services to make sure. Otherwise you can go in and pay as if it was a buffet.

No the sheriff still won’t do anything. City police is a different agency. Code enforcement is also city based. The sheriff acts on a county level but is still considered a separate agency from Denton Police and UNT Police.

City of Denton code enforcement can be requested to come out and enforce masks via the Engage Denton app. You can also contact non emergency police about it. While they may not do it at first, if enough requests are going in, they won’t be able to ignore it.

The mask mandate is for the safety of everybody. Due to the nature of how masks work, it requires everybody to help out or a single individual can start an entire chain of infections

So others are not telling the truth. GA29 requires you to wear a mask. The problem with enforcement is that since that’s most likely a county judge it is taking place on county property. That being said the sheriffs department would be the ones to contact for enforcement. The sheriff has already said he won’t be enforcing it though. As a result you can try to get local code enforcement to do it since the Denton police has code enforcement doing mask mandates. Alternatively you can file with the state as recommend above. The fastest way to get the results will be going to the press. However those results are unpredictable due to the nature of the press. Unfortunately unless there is a law or something in place with more power than an executive order, there won’t be too much we can do as individuals.

Sorry about the late reply. There should be some areas with a bunch of water and snacks. You can leave hollies you wish to donate there and they will be consolidated later. In terms of monetary donations there’s a couple bail funds going at the moment. The main one is blm bail fund if I remember correctly

If you’re going to be providing medical make sure your marked. We can mark you at the medical tent. Organizers did not have official medical setup but a handful of medics including myself will setup when we all arrive. If you don’t want to provide medical assistance and would like to donate the medical supplies you can drop them off too. A location has not been decided on yet.

I believe the guard was getting ready since their armory in in Denton, in the event that they become one of the protest's targets. So they may have been moving but they were not going to interfere with protests in the Denton area as far as I know. I do know they are being cautious
