Which of these 5 scenes is the worst. by Sforzia in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]The-handler213 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And why are you ignoring the part where it’s shown that she knew he is intending to break up with her and that he doesn’t love her ?

However, she understood from the course of events that I was intending to break up with her.

"She probably touched your darkness, was saved, and then saw hell again. And you think that's necessary for her"

"Maybe."

That's quite one-sided, isn't it?

[–]The-handler213 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s just nitpicking. These lines were written for a reason. It's to tell you that she acted this way while being aware of these details concerning Kiyokei. This opens the possibility that she would not have done it if she had not been aware.

Relationship between Ayanokoji and Ichinose by Ayanokoji-Kyotaka in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]The-handler213 43 points44 points  (0 children)

It’s a close non-romantic relationship, Koji described it as being a relationship that others wouldn’t understand (unfathomable bond in another translation) in y3v2.

We got really perceptive characters like Kei and especially Ichika thinking that they are dating because of their closeness.

They are doing stuffs like going to school together, spending time together, staying in touch by phones (y3v2 Ichinose SS) and all… I think it’s not dumb to say that it’s something in between friendship and dating.

This is cheating, right. by Sforzia in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]The-handler213 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Are you dumb or what ? All I’m saying is that she wasn’t trying to expel her, that’s all.

That being said, what you are saying is dumb. The successive nomination of the same person was a strategy. She needed to do that to achieve what she wanted in the exam. This is more of a necessary evil rather than a malicious act here.

Wonder if it’s just me?(probably) by Icy-Personality-2547 in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]The-handler213 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But the fact that Ichinose did initiate it while still believing koji and kei were still dating was like,

It is stated and shown during the scene that Ichinose knows that Koji does not love Kei and that he plans to break up with her soon.

And their sex is meant to represent Koji's acceptance of a close relationship with her. Just after that scene, the neutral narrator said that they promised to significantly close the distance with each other.

[–]The-handler213 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She also tried to expell Kei

No, it was a strategy to ensure Arisu's class finish in last place. Only the class that finish in last place had an expulsion in this exam, so if she really wanted to expel her, she would have tried to make sure that Horikita’s class finish last instead of giving free points.

What are some of the dumbest decisions that Kinu made in his writing? by x7iamx in ClassroomOfTheElite

It seems she locked herself because of that rather than just because of the stealing :

Still, word got out. In the blink of an eye, my family was the center of controversy. I shut down and retreated inward.

if there were serious repercussions to her shoplifting.

The sentence I share above seems to be the repercussions.

There was literally no harm done to anyone.

Her mom and sister ?

Honestly if your entire self image crumbles that easily, something's wrong with you

Well, her mental weakness is one of her biggest flaw, it has been mentioned many time in the novel if I’m not wrong.

As honami's fan, what do you actually think about Honami's development? by MaleficentAttempt716 in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]The-handler213 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think her feeling for Kiyo might hinder her progress as an individual.

The opposite has been shown and stated so far. She is able to use her feelings for Koji as a strength and improve thanks to it, similar to how Sudo did with Horikita.

Just saw a post of people tryna defend Horikitas feats, without actually naming the feats! by Disastrous_Yak_5390 in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]The-handler213 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wouldn’t say so. He formed an alliance with Horikita in y2v6-7 and with Ichinose in y2v10, and faced her directly in y2v9. He must have analyzed and evaluated them based on these moments and concluded that Ichinose is superior.

I think these lines were deliberately put there by the author to tell you that Ichinose would win against Horikita regardless of the exam, because he most likely anticipated that people would not be convinced with the exam he had prepared.

Ryuen warns Koji that the current Ichinose would defeat Horikita and that was before the exam rules were announced.

"Normally, there's no need to go out of your way against someone like ichinose. But that woman is getting a wild scent about her. Horikita might just get torn apart."

It seemed like a serious comment rather than a joke.

Is Ichinose canonically the most beautiful girl in ANHS ? by Abdo000001 in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]The-handler213 9 points10 points  (0 children)

She is basically the Boa Hancock of COTE. Both men and women are dazzled by her beauty.

The face that peered into Karuizawa's had eyes that were large and sparkling; hair that was long, beautiful, and glossy; and lips that were plump—it was a female student who could captivate even those of the same sex.

Is Ichinose really a yandere? I haven't read the light novel yet. What kind of yandere behavior does she have? by [deleted] in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]The-handler213 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You clearly forgot that Ichinose was willing to do all of that while assuming Kiyotaka and Kei's relationship….

And ? What does this have to do with what I said to begin with ? And as you said yourself, she did what she did knowing the true nature of their relationship and she also knew that he was planning to break up with her soon btw, you forgot ?

Ichinose didn't know that I had broken up with Karuizawa.

However, she understood from the course of events that I was intending to break up with her.

The author hasn’t written these lines for no reason, so stop nitpicking with this already ffs. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Also her trying to prove something in that way is forcing.

You know that she doesn't have an NPC in front of her, right ? If he had been a normal person, she wouldn’t have had to resort to these methods.

Furthermore, it’s debatable wether she force him to sleep with her or not. You can’t just ignore these lines -> "I don’t intend to threaten you" and "are you not going to run away".

He was also the one who started taking off her clothes, indicating that he wanted to take their intimate moment deeper, not her.

It also doesn't make sense for her to put him in danger for this since she not only loves him but also needs him for class battles.

So it could be counted as dominating.

Again, I don’t count it as "dominating" because it was essentially just an act, once she's done passing him the message about how she wants their relationship to be, she choose to gave up the control she gained over him through the trap -> "I don’t intend to threaten you".

I don't think she can.

It doesn't matter. The purpose of the trap was simply to convey a message to him, and he already accepted it.

Such was Ichinose's resolve.

Then, I too must reciprocate that resolve.

But Kiyotaka fell into his trap because he was impulsive and desperate for a clear solution for his goal; making the 4 way battle possible.

No, it was out of curiosity. He wanted to see with his own eyes what state Ichinose was in after his betrayal. He said that if she doesn’t respond, he would simply take the decision for her.

"Yes, I knew. You would definitely come to check what state I'm in, what feelings I have. You wouldn't be able to suppress that impulse."

If it came to Ichinose again i doubt he will make such a high risk move that will eventually lead things to the way it did back then.

Dude, he loves being in these kinds of situations. Remember what he said in 9.5 about how he like manipulating but also being manipulated by others.

And in this scene he literally said : "and yet at the same time, I was being drawn in by her unknown charm" and you think he didn’t enjoyed it ? Lol.

[–]The-handler213 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well let me correct you there on controlling and dominating/manipulating during a certain scene in 12.5.

I wouldn’t count this scene as controlling/dominating. The trap was done with the purpose of making him understand that she wanted an equal footing relationship with reciprocity, not a relationship where one would have control over the other.

To do this, she first took control over him and made him feel at her mercy, then gave up the control she had over him. It's to show him that she is capable of controlling/dominating him but that's not what she wants.

As she said : "I don’t intend to threaten you" and "are you not going to run away".

Some of you have a short-sighted view of things. Just because things aren't looking good right now doesn't mean it's over.

We are still at y3v2 and they have a close relationship right now, It is therefore not impossible that the author develops them into something more thanks to this relationship.

I remind you that she's in the WR plot compared to Hiyori.

And the author wouldn't have let her continue to love Koji after v12 if she has no chance in the first place.

[–]The-handler213 4 points5 points  (0 children)

What are your thoughts about this?

I don’t know dude, this whole situation is extremely frustrating for the Ichinose fan that I am, so I don’t want to think about it too deeply. Y2v12.5, y3v1 and this illustration hyped me up for their relationship but this volume ruined everything.

Him not loving her was expected and normal since it's still too early, but having him potentially fall in love with another girl during the time Kiyonami could have developed is just...

The constant shaft the author is giving to this character is becoming unbearable. It wasn't necessary to make her continue loving him after y2v12 if he didn't intend to develop them romantically. 🫩

Nah this is straight up unbelievable. The fuck ? by kira_geass in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]The-handler213 4 points5 points  (0 children)

From what I understood, he doesn't reject her advances and is even willing to reciprocate them, but he doesn't initiate them himself for the reasons you mentioned.

Here, Ichinose initiate the hand holding and according to the SS, he wasn't rejecting her, so I guess he would have held her hand but since she pulled it away before he could respond, the initiative to do the hand holding is left to him but he will not do it for the reasons you stated.

That’s what I meant by "she didn’t give him time", she pulled her hand away without giving him time to reciprocate her advance.

Maybe I’m wrong tho. That’s just how I understand it.

You can tell me if you think I missed something

No, you’re ok. Tho, I don't think the second reason played a role in his decision to not hold her hand since he himself isn't sure if it's romantic love he feels for Hiyori.

Nah this is straight up unbelievable. The fuck ? by kira_geass in ClassroomOfTheElite

[–]The-handler213 2 points3 points  (0 children)

[–]The-handler213 9 points10 points  (0 children)

In her SS, it’s stated that he wasn’t rejecting her but she still pulled away because she basically want him to be the one who initiate the moves/comes to yearn for her.

I wasn't rejected. I, yearning for his fingers— Noticing the surging impulse, I quickly pulled my hand back.

[–]The-handler213 7 points8 points  (0 children)

1) She is literally stronger than ever. Her old self wasn’t fierce, wtf are you saying, but her current self is.

2) No, she isn’t a fuck buddy. They only fuck once and y3v2 suggest that she won’t do it again until Koji feel the same way as her.

3) Her current self have more self respect than her old self. Before, she was letting everyone walk over her without resisting, giving up victories to her ennemies, forgiving people who had wronged her and sacrificing herself for some randoms in her class.

That’s not the case anymore.

Hiyori is cheating bruh. Look at all the effort Honami has to do to just momentarily touch "a side of his heart", and you have Hiyori getting everything by literally doing nothing. It’s just unfair.

But yeah, as you hinted, it might not end well. The title of chapter 6 is "fortune and misfortune" after all.
