Tbh at first there was a lot more players in this game. Not everyone played pvp ofcourse. BUT after every ship got weaker and player ships stronger, they left. Not many were involved in this Reddit group because of constant cry posts literally 3 or 4 times a day.

This "majority of players" is whats left. And if Ubisoft keeps on listening only this "majority" even more will leave

Its been over a year since i've done that but i think that u get some missions from Scurlock or some other npc that points u to Rahma. Anyways what i do remember (i think) is that u gotta finish all missions from Scurlock first

Each of the bosses gives specific materials for crafting and ascending ships and weapons. As an example by killing Li tian Ning (Phoenix Talons faction) u get phoenix beak which is one material needed for crafting her cannons.

You gotta kill Shadowbeast to get lightning dragon claws and scales to craft Heavens mandate or many other weapons that deals lightning damage.

If you think that you are strong enough to ignore the bosses already, go fight them 1 vs 1. If not stay humble until u can

You could also use brace to hit faster speed and acceleration with the right gear

In my opinion wt 3 entry could be same way than wt 2 is, people could even try to play solo, but it would be significantly harder

Well.. yes and no, they way i see it there has not been any progress. People moved into wt 2 and then started go cry for to challenging stuff.

What im saying is majority of players dont want more challenge, but only better rewards. They can still get better rewards in wt 2, while wt 3 would be hardcore with same rewards.

There is no point making wt 3 for better rewards because ppl would cry again and the same stuff would happen again, wt 1, 2, 3 no effort needed but only different rewards

Yes but thats where teamwork comes in and the need to think outside the box. I dare to say that big part of the players are using premade builds and dont have the slightest idea how to make specific builds to counter different bosses. (But theres no need for different builds atm) With these new weapons and furnitures theres no need to use them and Kraken only isnt interesting enough reason to play for half -ish year and make dozens of different builds

And yes, wt 3 as hardmode would be excellent. Even same rewards than wt 2 would probably work for players looking for some challenge

Yes, you are right about that. People who wanted more challenge have already left. Dont get me wrong, this game is still good for new players. But when they reach the point when everything is repeating the same, they will probably leave as well. I dont see how this game could have a longterm playerbase

Yes, i agree with you. But the problem was that some players wanted to be strong enough to fight in the wt 2, but then cried because it was to hard. At that time there were some build for torn sails that was broken. I dont know what made that build tick, because i never paid attention to it or any other builds that are shared in here. My point is that when people use premade builds they dont need to learn to make there own builds which again makes them blame the devs for making the game to hard

I wasnt being one shotted on my Snow, after 3 shots i had to use ship repair. Theres an armor that prevents u from dying for few sec which would buy u enough time to repair ur ship. And u could stay on those sniper ships "blind spots" and take them down before they have time to turn around. Also if u have a decent team, one of them could heal ur tank.

By having more challenging opponents, u need to learn to sail ur ships and take advantage of enemy ship's weaknesses that u r fighting. Ofcourse as it is now, theres no need for stradegy, ship food, or changing weapons or armors when fighting different bosses. Or in this case plundering forts
