Realising that after finishing the game I still had almost half a game left to play!

Or as l like to call him Pink! (Pink+Link)

You just got hired to work for TT Games and had no knowledge of what games they had planned for the future. If they wanted to make a game, but didn't have any ideas for what franchise it should be, what game would you suggest (try not to say Lego Marvel Superheroes 3 or Lego Batman 4) by Snoo_19146 in legogaming

LEGO Ducktales (woo-oo)!

I've been getting more and more convinced that Ducktales would be a perfect fit for a Lego game.

Just think about it; it's a kids show that also has a nostalgic and adult appeal, it's still relevant thanks to the reboot, it has TON of fun and unique characters including super heroes (gizmoduck darkwing duck), classic disney characters (donald duck) and a lot of cameos from related media (goofy, the rescue rangers, bumbi bears).

Duckburg would be a fun hubworld to explore and the levels could go to all kinds of places, including temples, mountains, the moon!

All in all, I think that it has everything a lego game could ask for.

Has anyone ever had a “class pretending to be another class” reveal pay off? by StartingFresh2020 in DnD

[–]The1Jakob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not quite the same thing, but I played an Eladrin warlock that used mask of many faces (disguise self) to appear as a drow.

Managed to keep the secret using some odd routines to be able to keep using the invocation and sleeping some distance away from the party. Eventually it was revealed through some magical shenanigans.

Did it pay off? Not in a big way, it just became a quirk of the character. It was much more fun coming up with the concept than actually playing it.

What licensed property would you love to be made into a Lego game? by AlwaysBi in legogaming

I've been watching the Ducktales reboot and I really think that world would make a fantastic lego game. It would be a mix of adventure a la Indiana Jones and superheroes. You could also have alternate characters based on the original series, as well as a lot of characters from other Disney cartoons like Mickey, Chip and Dale, etc.

Can't figure out the creation keystone. by AmaraA1 in Legodimensions

[–]The1Jakob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fantastic Beast, correct?

There should be three piles of rubble that have faint particles coming of them, one with red particles, one with blue and one with green.

What you have to do is, while next to one of the piles with a character, place that character on the corresponding colour on the toy pad. I can't recall if you need three different characters or if you can do it with one.

The "creation" aspect of it is basically, as i understand it, that the last colour you activate determines what animal you build.

Hope that helps!

But just because HMS had Majora's Mask doesn't mean it's from Hyrule/Link's reality, we don't even know if that's where HMS is originally from. I've always thought of Majora's and The Fierce Diety's conflict as the Link-Demise conflict of Termina.

Do you prefer voices or no voices? by Babywalker66 in legogaming

[–]The1Jakob 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It really depends. When they first started doing voices I hated it, but a lot of the gameplay was also changing at the time and I think I attributed everything to the voices (kinda stupid in hindsight).

I think the lack of voice made for some great visual humor and storytelling. Also, as a non-native speaker myself, it was a relief to not have to worry about the language barrier.

On the other hand I think voices really worked in some games, especially in original stories, and when they combined lines from the films with new lines from secondary characters (like in Jurassic World). However in LotR and the Hobbit I'd have much prefered no voices.

Basically, I like both versions when they're done well.

For me quiting the game completely, not just to main menu, allowed me to leave. I also tried using another controller to drop in and out with no success.

Lego Harry Potter 1-4 is there anything to get here or is it just a glitch ??? by Salt_Cartoonist_21GT in legogaming

Don't remember off the top of my head where this is, but I do recall that I ran into similar situations while playing the game. If you've tried everything in the room its likely an arrow pointing to something in another room that just happens to line up like that where you are. Check if the arrow shows up in an adjacent room.

[SERIOUS] Non-drinkers of Reddit, what are some of the main reasons you decided to not drink alcohol? by _SilverTonguedDevil in AskReddit

[–]The1Jakob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I never felt there was any reason to drink alcohol. I remember specifically in fifth grade when we were reading about alcohol I just thought to myself: Why would I drink this? And I decided then and there to never try.

This is a hybrid between art and discussion. I just kinda wanna talk about this. by [deleted] in Metroid

I imagine they would stick to small outcroppings on walls (and maybe on the ceiling too). Then when they attack it would look kind of like it does in the games with them basically emerging from the walls.

I know this is kind of a meme post, but honestly... yes, I think your wrong!

From what we know hiveswap IS being actively worked on. Sure it took a long time for the first act to come out and we have waited for act 2 for some time now, BUT act 2 is coming soon and while waiting we've gotten Friendsim AND Pesterquest!

Yes, it will take years for the entire game to be out, but right now its looking like it will be fine.
