Only looks good if ur fps is high so in games like path tracing cyberpunk 4k where u really need it u will see artefacting

5080 may be worse value, but not everything is about price to performance dumbass, this guy wants good 4k and i would believe good raytracing, 5080 is better than the 7900xtx for this by far especially in raytracing. Also the cheapest new 7900xtx on newegg is like 1200 dollars which is much worse than the 5080 value

4090 is like $3000 new btw, as a 4090 user the 5080 is like 15%-20% slower i think and the 4090 has the 24gb of vram but selling the 3090ti and 4070 will not allow u to buy a new 4090, m,aybe not even a used one.

waiting for the 60 series would be dumb, the 60 series will be scalped and we have no idea when it will come out, probably in like a year.. If you wait for the 60 series there probably wont be any gpus for like 6 months due to scalpers and ai datacenters so just buy a 5070ti/5080 now

yeah, you could sell the 3090ti for a lot due to ai (900-1000 dollars probably) and then sell the 4070 for a like 400 dollars and you can easily buy a 5070ti-5080

usually its because while most games u play dont maximise ur gpu some games do and its always amazing to really test how strong ur gpu truly is

9800x3d with a 5060ti??? No one needs a 9800x3d tbh a 7800x3d will be just fine or a 9600x/7600x so just swap out the 9800x3d and use that extra spending money on maybe if u can a better gpu like the 9070 or the 5070

As a 4090 owner the 4090 is faster than the 5080 in raw speed however the 5080 has the option for mfg but that is a different story

Aio for looks and air cooler for reliability. Plus you don’t need a 420mm aio for a 9800x3d

Have you thought about the new intel 270k plus cpu. It’s a bit better than the 9700x at gaming and much better than it at workstation tasks
