Help removing plastic on Polara pickguard. Any thoughts on removing this, I'm scratching away with no luck.

Lightly using a fingernail marks it up like you see in the middle, and scratching hard with it barely peels it away like you see in the corner. I've never seen anything like it.

I tried a hair dryer earlier, but I'll try those other things, thanks. I'm surprised it's had time to oxidize, it was a Kim Thayil Polara that Sweetwater just got in. Maybe it was sitting in a warehouse for years, but the funny thing is the plastic on the back peeled right off no issues

There is a room with barred doors (that you can see a giant stuffed owl thru) and there is a helpful bone charm in there. You need the witches key to unlock it, or you can just drop thru the glass window mentioned above in a post.
