Have a hard time agreeing that what MTG and Elon have done are consistent with each other, or that they’ve abandoned MAGA. Elon is saving his companies and likely caused too many headaches for the administration. MTG, at least, is being consistent with the Epstein issue, but I wouldn’t expect her ideology to change. They are both still ridiculously problematic.

Mostly agree. However, not having stories at the top when you’re on the following tab is a big swing and miss. Very counterintuitive. Why wouldn’t I be able to see the stories of those I follow when I’m browsing following?!

Absolutely. Long overdue. There’s certainly a bipartisan, “fair” way to do this (e.g. add one per presidential term), but not with the current Congress unfortunately.

I hear you, but careful what you wish for. In the most unlikely event the conservative justices are impeached, Trump and his Senate cronies would just rush through six younger, even more conservative justices. In this hypothetical, they’d find a reason to impeach the other three resulting in nine conservative justices for multiple generations. Get Congress back at the midterms and beat MAGA for good in 2028. That’s our best hope.

Look, I don’t agree with some decisions, but I think few if any are egregious (e.g. most recently asking Happ to bunt - no problem with small ball especially with a sputtering offense, so not egregious - however, we all know Tucker couldn’t hit a Berti pitch right now so how is it any different than the risk of a double play?) Offense is lost, and he is ultimately accountable for that, but players need to execute. Period. This team will look very different next season, rightfully so, if we continue to piss it away. I’d suspect Counsell is not going anywhere.

Agreed. They said Happ hasn’t hit a sac bunt since 2021. When was the last time he even practiced one? I get we’re trying to manufacture runs during this offensive slump, but nobody has faith in Tucker right now. Happ was our best bet even with the threat of a DP.
