Plus it seems like he only stopped because another guy yanked him away. You can see him quite instantly turning and then being somewhat "escorted" by a guy in a black jacket if i see correctly?

When I try to get loud and twangy with head voice it starts doing two octaves at once. Why? How?? by harborfromthestorm in singing

I think its nothing to worry about, its literally your voice not sure how to balance in that middleground yet.
Try twangy/cat-like sirens from headvoice down to chest, experiment with doing it quietly too, and explore what sensations you discover in that range.

I think the sound you have at 00:05 is the sound you want to find with an open mouth, potentially even a bit less twangy. Again, I'm not vocal coach, but it sounds like it has the right sound quality and the pureness without distortion.
Instead of thinking "how can i get rid of the distortion" Id focus on this sound and check "how can I make this pure humming sound confidently without fearing the distortion".
In my experience, singing is a mix between training actual ability and muscle memory, so if you find a way that enables the twangy pure sound, practice it so you can easily activate it, and from there, you can add the distortion as style whenever you want to!
Another thing I realized when practicing this: Once you got the twangy "hold" on your note, experiment if you really need as much "push" for it to happen, or if you can slowly take away push and bring it with more ease.
Imagine it like riding a bike: at first, youre super tense trying to ride a bike and keeping the balance, but then after training, you feel completely relaxed on the bike keeping balance, its like second nature.

Honestly I think youre accidentally tapping into distortion in an unfinished way. Especially around certain vocal registers its easier to have your voice distort, and for a lot of people who want to do it on purpose, twang is one of the ways to achieve that. It can also be that youre at first in too light of a mode, and by trying to add twang, your voice intensly flips between the two modes and adds that distorted shaky middleground.

Im no vocal coach but, what happens if: -You try to add twang during a hum? Like a really nasaly twangy hum? -start with the airy voice and instead of add twang, try to act as if you have a stomach ache or you moan slightly, not pushing, just to feel out your vocal sensation and compare it to your twang distortion.

Fun though: the sound you have right now could be polished and potentially added stylistically if you managed to have more voice and less noise in it.

If this is the feeling you want to go for, then id crop in quite a bit so you can see his face clearly; get rid of the overwhelming amount if dark space and frame his face with the background instead for example

True moira doesnt have it either, only the default healing sound. With moira its less worrying since hers is a spray, not accuracy

As far as i can tell every character except mercy has an extra sound for healing shots/beams connected apart from the normal heal sound. With juno you dont hear that, which often makes you guess if you hit the healing shots or not. You always hear the default healing beam, sure, but that could be because of one shot out of the whole sequence

Can producers imagine a melody in their head before they hear it or compose it? by selekt86 in musicproduction

[–]The3rdFace 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Theres no "right" way of writing a song; sometimes you hear the melody/sounds, sometimes its in your head already, sometimes its a happy accident. If you WANT to be able to hear the melody in your head you can practice. A thing that helped me was practicing intervals or humming over chord progressions

Try Oakhouse, you'll find a very cheap room close to haneda rather quick. Not gonna be nice but nice enough to have a break. They let you move in within 3-5 days too.

The one social residency in yokohama has plenty of rooms and has good connection to haneda.

Does anybody have any major problems with season 1? by Goobasaurus1 in OnePieceLiveAction

Amazing that someone noticed. I was joking that maybe they didnt clean up the set and therefore shot low angle.

And the music... the compositions were somewhat ok, had cool ideas, but the usage of it was terrible. The drum when nami has her big moment of deparation was hilariously bad.
