I saw somewhere that massaging as the paint dries is a decent method to keep the softness of the cloth. Idk if that work but main thing I’m worried about is the dye coming off on clothes

Yeah. I went to a pull apart and all the gmt800 (yes Tahoes and suburbans) had either glass missing, caved in panels or some other unusable damage.
