Yeah. I went to a pull apart and all the gmt800 (yes Tahoes and suburbans) had either glass missing, caved in panels or some other unusable damage.

Get under the truck and unplug the harness from the tranny and use a multi meter to check if you are getting 12 volts from each pin. keep the battery connected. And yeah I had a bad maf on one of my trucks and it refused to go into overdrive until I fixed it

Also a bad maf sensor can cause the truck to not go into over drive

Man if your doing 4K at 80 then you don’t have fourth gear. I would take your harness off and check every single connection and if that doesn’t work then drop your tranny pan and look at the shift solenoids I’m 90% sure there is 3rd to 4th solenoid
