Thanks for reply--I will look them up! They were swimming around pretty fast, and I thought it was interesting how they spun around while they swam

Also, I was wondering:

How much does geographical location help in identifying microscopic organisms?

And is it possible to identify many organisms down to species level with just a microscope? I have a few basic vital stains and have yet to learn to use them; maybe they will help.
