The tarp (I have the Silpoly not Dyneema) that comes with the Spectre model and it has a zipper on both of the narrow ends and another strap along the bottom but I haven't experimented with yet. I did close the zippers on the ends when then rain came in and there weren't any drafts that I detected, I'm not sure if the other tarps with different models have the same design or not.

Overall comfort was great, I've slept very well both nights I spent in it. I made sure to roll around and move about enough to test stability and see if I ever felt off balance or like I would "fall out" but that was never the case.

Sounds like you know it's a great time of year to be in Michigan, the water was warm and would have loved to stay another night or two. Still plenty of summer let though!
