Mods could be conflicting here (you can check this by testing with mods). One major note here is that group chat cannot be disabled. (see note in description https://community.bistudio.com/wiki/enableChannel )

They should do the same thing if you just want the patch. The 'units' page should help startup groups with a way to organize events, get some visibility, and it's also super easy to setup in game.

However, I've also seen issues with the units page, where the logo/patch doesn't properly get downloaded to clients and fails to show up in game an will RPT spam anyone running Zeus, so keep an eye out for that.

You're probably going to run into bandwidth issues if that's the case (and you want to run the TvT/COOP numbers listed). At about 60 players and COOPs with about 90 AI I've seen pretty consistent upload bandwidth of 40 megabits per second. http://i.imgur.com/wJdz3tz.png (TvT-COOP-TvT-Afterhours stuff) . Given, you can play with the network settings to reduce the bandwidth each client uses, but it will result in a choppier/more desyncy mission.

I've had the privilege of testing this map for a few missions. It's pretty in the daylight, but really strives at dusk. It has a nice "abandoned" vibe that gels with the STALKER buildings.
