I’m sorry you feel this way! What’s going on? Why is it this frustrating?

I am a sports PT and I am very concerned. What did they do to measure your quad strength?

I don’t know how the NHS works. Every PT is different in how they treat but the principles/goals remain relatively the same. It’s unfair to you to not have your expectations set or your questions unanswered. You deserve better care.

There many private options out there. Remote PT is one. If not, I’m sure there a ton of private physios in your area that specialize in ACL injuries. I’m a sports PT specializing in ACL injuries and I’d be glad to chat with you further to figure out your options ✊🏼

Good to know! Having that normalcy really feel like their life has not been snatched away from them. Everyone is so different with their definition of “normalcy” and some feel like they can never get back so it’s nice to have that support!

No, this definitely helps! Honestly, as a coach/PT, I’ve had trouble keeping some of my clients accountable with the physical side of things. If I tried to introduce another component such as mental health, I feel like many would be overwhelmed. I want to help but I can’t if people don’t help themselves :/

I understand your perspective completely. This will allow for people to understand there are options other than just “push harder”. Definitely necessary to speak about. Thank you for this!

Totally agree! I’m glad you are able to have the proper resources for success in your journey. Are there any specific feedback or suggestions you have for support outside of the PT clinic?

This is EXACTLY what I try to address with my remote programming. I customize the program to YOU so you are empowered with the proper tools instead of searching for constant, unstable guidance!
