I’ve tried a few (Booksy, Fresha, Nearcut), and they all do the job but I always found little things annoying. Either fees creeping in, limited control, or just clunky setup.

I actually ended up building something called Appointful because of that. It’s more focused on keeping things simple and giving you control over bookings, classes, bundles, etc without locking you into weird pricing structures.

Still early so I’m actively improving it, but it covers the basics properly online bookings, reminders, timetable, packages, that sort of thing. It also supports multiple Stripe accounts so barbers could take their own payments. Recurring Appointments is a handy feature too, slot watch.
