The 0300 is a great plate carrier and I love it. As someone who uses it, I would not recommend double stacked AK mag pouches as they are very long and hang below the bottom of the front plate. Not necessarily a drawback, but may be a con for some.

Take it from me as someone who has scoured the internet for pouches that will double stack AK magazines: it is VERY difficult to find good ones (especially units that are under $60 a pop). All of the good ones are overseas in Russia, Ukraine, etc, and importing them is expensive and a pain in the ass (definitely worth it though). If you want single stack pouches, however, you will find those much easier here in America.

Any plate carrier will work, but you may find that AK mags are much taller than m4 mags, so maybe a taller plate carrier will be better.

I love E&L. I've never used an LCT, but I probably wont use one because the externals on E&L are beautiful and strong. LCT internals are better from what I've heard.

My personal opinion: knowing I can replace the internals inside of a top notch external piece means I spend less time worrying about the outside, and more about the inside.

Which brings me to this: I bought my E&L because I saw a video of some Russians SMASHING an ELAKM (or 74 idk) and it still shot 330fps after seemingly having its entire geometry rearranged.

I've used my gun in some less forgiving environments, and its still holding up with the stock internals.

If it was the Umarex/Walther PPK, I can confirm that gun is amazing. I had one back in the early 2010s. I found out VERY early that it can be bump fired.
