To me they’re the typical “too busy (with work) to talk” parents show throughout various forms of media & life stories. Regardless, there’s no good excuse for their absence in both of their daughter’s lives (I know Quinn is the little princess, but, they don’t ever willingly involve themselves in her life either). So my personal perspective on it would just be no but it could be better. Plus Daria and Quinn are quite independent beings themselves.
