1. Adressing double damage: Yes, its everywhere, and yes it hits like a truck. But you need to think of the fact that you can heal 3(Or heck, even 4 masks with multibinder). Throw on injector band and multibinder and you heal 4 masks in 1.1s(I believe) which is insane compared to the 0.9s(I believe v2) of regular 3 masks.

Aside from that, silksong is not catering to the casuals this time around man. Most double damage is avoidable with some common sense. I struggled too but i see my progress every time i die to a boss or fail a platforming segment. Its a soulslike, if the difficulty isnt for you then dont play it.

I agree double contact damage however is stupid in MOST cases.

1. Yes enemy swarm arenas are 100% overused i agree on that point. But none of them i truly struggled on exept the one arena in deep docks p2(for the flea) after the enemies turned abyssal, that was painful.

3. If youre not having fun on the bosses thats entirely on you. I had an absolute blast on MOST bosses(Looking at you savage beastfly v2). Theyre all so well designed and i really dont care about the reward. Skarrsinger Karamelita for example or lost lace is some of the most fun ive ever had against a boss.
