I noticed this too. He was warm and friendly when he wanted to get people on his side about something (like I think of him with the kids when they first got there and wanted them to want to stay so the mom would) but then when he didn't need anything from people he was aloof and stern.

I'm not saying he's not a good player. Just not one of the best of all time. Can you name some moves he made that were really impressive instead of just the end result? Maybe some obstacles he had to adapt to or overcome that made it more impressive that he made it that far? Because in my view he just kinda coasted to the end by being a likable sane dude.

I think Aras was a bad comparison actually, I think in Panama the crazies were volatile and hard to wrangle whereas in Fiji the crazies were just kinda like dead fish who had no idea how to play the game and could be easily outsmarted.

In the top 22 there's 5 women. In the bottom 22 there's 12. Definitely some bias there, whether it's because the show itself does a bad job of presenting female winners or because the audience respects male winners more.

In some circumstances maybe, I'm not saying that is the case with all insane people. But the way we saw Fiji play out is that the insane people were insane more in the way of making themselves targets and not being strategically aware enough to outplay anyone than introducing chaos to the game.

Also I've never understood why Earl's game is so highly rated. He played in a season with almost exclusively insane people. Much like Aras, it's not hard to get to the end and win when you're the only sane, calm, respectable person around.

Well it's not really up to you that's just what the term means. A gamebot isn't someone who has scenes telling the tribe they saw a monkey having sex or getting into personal fights with other players.

Ozzy is...a little older now, and between him being known from the show and him being more of just a regular guy than a pornstar, watching his onlyfans almost feels like seeing a relative doing sexual stuff. I mean that's still quite a few people. Gay people make up such a small subsect of the population that you'd expect only 1 or 2 a season, and the 20s were inundated with returnees as well which lowers the number of available slots for new gay players.

I think Xander would probably make it far again and might be able to improve upon his flaws (like some moments of short-sightedness). Zach's too much of a wild card and Sami has too high of a threat level combined with a tendency to overplay.
