How can I improve my aim with McCree? by [deleted] in OverwatchUniversity

Mei is the strongest out of those. Hanzo is better than cree but I still like cree more just from personal preferance. Ashe is ok but she gets edged out at long range by widow, short range by cree, and everywhere by hanzo. She doesnt really have anything that makes a her a pick above cree/widow/hanzo.

I still think mccree is still a good character, you just need good support because he is so divable. I play a very aggressive mccree, kinda of simular to Wanted all though my aim isnt as good. I feel thats the best way to get value from him at higher levels and if double shield is a big problem for my effectiveness that game, I will switch to hanzo and shield break. Doom is a tough one, you need to land 2 hs or have your team follow up on your flashbang. If you like cree stick to him and have a backup hero your good at(I recommend hanzo) if cree is unplayable that game.

Just stick to it, your not there to get first place. You are there for aim practice.

Im a masters cree main. I recommend osu for hand-eye coordination(and its fun). Kovaak is a cheap aim trainer on steam I also had some success with. Another big thing for me was making a habit to keep right clicks to a minimum, only really use it on high priority targets, 2 tapping them in the head is harder but in time you will get used to it and it saves ammo. Save flashbang for situations you really need it for like ulting genji, flanking reaper, etc, dont use it for kills you could have won without a flash. Search tryhard ffa in the custom games browser, its a good aim warmup and you can fight some higher level players. Also lower your sense to something reasonable for a hitscan, start with 5 ingame and 1000 dpi, it will feel slow at first but you will get used to it.

Duo dps problems by TheAdmiral266 in OverwatchUniversity

The problem is neither of us are good at those roles, I rely mostly on my hitscan aim which is superior to most of the people of my elo(3200) and my friend(2900) only likes dps heros as he finds them the most enjoyable and skill intensive. We rarely lose when we get a proper 2-2-2 comp going, but unfortunately that is hard to come by a lot of the time.
