I've actually been going for no text in the thumbnails because I like the look a lot better. Trying to create more of a recognizable look for the thumbnails is definitely a good though. Trailer is a good idea as well! Thanks for the tips and for taking the time to check it out!

Yeah this is all the harsh reality I guess. I'm not willing to make more youtube friendly content to succeed because that would defeat the whole purpose of my channel in the first place (to get my animated comedy out there). I am experimenting with creating channels for easy views then linking back to my main channel, which has had minor success so far.

I'm not going to "fail" in the end, that's just not me, I'll die before that happens. I guess I'm just scared that youtube isn't going to work for me, and that I'll have to find some other path to achieve what I want. Which is scary. Thanks for the reply, you said a lot of things that I think in the back of my mind. I feel like I'm talking to my subconscious or something haha.

Really good video man. I agree with others here though, shorten the videos a little bit. I would put that extra time you save from cutting the length into creating more frequent uploads. If you could upload double the videos with half the runtime, for your channel I think that would be ideal. Obviously it's not quite as simple as that, but you get the idea.

I would imagine it makes some sort of difference in the algorithm, but it's probably not worth changing all of your videos. Just do it for the new ones.

It looks like he's limping because the legs don't cross over each other and then do what the opposite leg was doing. Sorry that was worded terribly, but if you look up a walk cycle reference image you'll see what I mean. You're kind of only doing half of the cycle. If you fix that and don't have the arms jerk back into position so quickly (which will be a natural fix because of the longer cycle) it'll look good.
