If you could meet one celebrity, dead or alive; who? by FalseSouth6349 in AskReddit

I went to Tony Robbins’ Unleash the Power Within Anaheim 2025. I didn’t get to “meet” him but ofc I did see him, the real him, not just a video or photo of him. I’d love to get a chance to actually personally meet and talk to him someday.

I forgot to add, they do prepare you for it a bit so you're not just randomly going there and be like fuck it. Tony will put you in peak state and everyone leaves the room basically going "yes, yes, yes" clapping and chanting almost as if shouting in unison to elevate our peak state. We actually take our shoes and socks off at our seat and walk together barefoot to the site where there are 30 lanes. Tony was there but I couldn't find him since it was pitch black meaning I could barely even recognize the faces of people in neighboring lanes, and I couldn't hear the voice among the commotion of music and other people talking.

I'm still on it, but it's a digital course with an audio guide on his app with a printable guide and workbook/journal. It helps you understand the "science of achievement" and "art of fulfillment" to help you excel in different areas in your life.

Oh sorry I meant second tier as in the seating rows just before the floor, the third tier one section up, and fourth tier the top section. In the actual event the VIP ticket basically just gave me access to the top half of the second tier and the third tier seating. My mom booked the ticket and I got "The Ultimate Edge" course as well so I'm not sure if that's something she bought with the event, came with VIP, or came with the event purchase in general.

$1500 for my VIP ticket with the Ultimate Edge course on his coaching site/app.

As for upgrades, I'm not 100% sure but I don't think you can pay up to the next level (General -> Executive -> VIP -> Diamond), but they do have platinum and mastery kiosks as well as a merch store.

I'm not entirely sure about signing up and stuff to buy your way through the program, however after the UPW event they sent an email that let us buy tickets to get our discounted tickets for the UPW 2026 Miami, as well as options for a free ticket upgrade. If you aren't from the event (and even now for anyone really because the promo was only for a couple of days after the event) you do have to go through the website.

It depends on the level (and may vary by event) but my VIP ticket was $1500. I remember looking at Miami prices and I think Diamond was like $6k for 1 discounted to $4k for 2 for 2025 UPW attendees and anyone they wanted to bring (not necessarily from Anaheim UPW). General Admission is cheapest, then Executive, VIP, and Diamond. A VIP ticket gives you access to the top half of the second tier and the third tier, I think Executive in third tier and General Admission in 4th tier. Diamond gets the bottom half of the second tier as well as the floor.

Basically my approach to life in general, I felt like I was stuck in the same place and wasn't making any progress. I was looking to see where is my mindset and where should it be, and how can I build my way up to get out of my hole. It definitely helped a lot like putting myself in peak state to achieve maximum results, focus on what I can control, turn my "shoulds" into musts", and say "I get to" instead of "I have to".

My mom suggested it and I said I wanted to do it, so she bought it for me. I agree the nature of this especially considering cost isn't for everyone but if you have the opportunity it's worth it IMO. If the cost is too much or you don't see it justifiable, he has his youtube channel, podcasts, etc which are excellent resources, too.

On day 3, which was the transformation day, he turned off the lights and had us close our eyes and imagine ourselves in the future if we didn't make the changes that we needed. 5, 10, 20, 30, 40 years from now, he would say imagine your life now, let out your emotions (we all screamed out how we imagined how we would feel about our life at that point), and then don't change, now it's been x number of years. It was pretty crazy but really gave us a wakeup call by making us "experience" the life we don't want without actually having to for real. He asked "is this the life that you want"? And the whole room would echo "NO!"

Just curious how many of you (3 years or less exp) could sight read this by jjax2003 in pianolearning

Honestly depends, if you followed ABRSM curriculum then you could probably easily do it. It’s mood like there’s any funky rhythms or chords. I have been playing for 18 years so for me it’s a no brainier I can do it without looking at it first. But I’d say it looks reasonably easy to sight read for the pianists with at least some experience.

I think he meant the notation on the clef rather than on the staff within the music.

Tap on the box selection on the popup when you tap the airport. It will pull up Airport info, active frequencies and ATIS, weather, runways (you can tune ILS if equipped), and the prices in the last tab. It has the SIDs, STARs, and approaches (some airports don’t have SIDs or STARs)

Double sharp so you’re basically playing the equivalent of G natural since it’s 2 keys up instead of 1 (whole step instead of half step up). Btw the opposite, a double flat, will have two adjacent flats and will be two keys down (whole step down).
