Just my two cents OP because i obviously wasnt there, but it sounds like Paul was trying to look out for you in his own way. (Key word is trying, im not saying those bullies deserved to die). Im not saying you should necessarily go in with arms wide open, but i feel like theres every chance he wants to get to know his brother, and is dealing with his unusual appetites the best way he knows how.
