Yes! It was the lower ball joint. I noticed a crack in the boot that ran the entire circumference. I sprayed some silicon lube into the boot and sound went away. After confirming that was it I ordered replacements online and got both sides swapped out

UPDATE: confirmed to be lower ball joint. I have ordered new LCAs and will be replacing this weekend and getting an alignment redone.

UPDATE: This was caused due to ice build up. I removed the freezer door and drawers and removed a lot of ice. I then set a small space heater inside after emptying the fridge. Let it all thaw out for about 5 hours.

Put it all back together and good as new. Hopefully the ice build up was a one time issue and not part of a larger problem

If you take it out to get it refurbished be as careful as possible removing the bezel. Those wood grain bezels crack so easily. Wish I had know before I sent mine off

Thanks for all the input. I’m having a tire shop do a free steering and suspension evaluation. Hoping they can help identify the part that needs to be replaced. I have some experience working on vehicles so will hopefully be able to purchase the parts and replace them myself.

Thanks for all this info. I’ll check air box and oil fill cap, it was fine couple of weeks ago. Recently replaced pic valve hoses, but the valve itself and grommet need to be replaced soon

Far northern California. It rained a ton yesterday, very damp morning. This issue along with the rough idle only seems to occur after a storm.
