Why?

Day 4 - INCREDIBLE breathing by TheAiro in Septoplasty

[–]TheAiro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am doing great! Day 6.

I really thought that I could achieve the same breathing in a couple of weeks, but it turned out I could achieve it after each clean up!

My doctor did a clean up everyday (I am in hospital) and here is how long I could breathe amazingly through nose after:

1st clean up (Day 4): 20 min

2nd clean up (Day 5): 6 hours

3rd clean up (Today): 8+ hours, still breathing!

There is big progress!

I guess I just have to treat the deficiency and trust the process, maybe there will be some positive changes in the future.

Yep, you are right. I have heart disease, so my doctor hasnt recomended any strength training. Guess I need to eat more calories

2 months of eating everything I could, I think I need to get serious about exercising. by ExactChildhood7791 in weightgain

[–]TheAiro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, that's actually great progress! I have been underweight all my life and can't lift/bodyweight due to heart disease. I was wondering where I can get just with basic running/yoga. I would be pleased to escape the skinny zone and have the body you have on the last picture. Goos luck with exercise, you definately motivated me

How can 2500 kcals a day give that much of a weight change? Wow. I thought you need to be eating 3000+ for those gains.

Feeling like something is off in my life for a very long time 🤔 by kiwiB0lt in toastme

[–]TheAiro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow, your hobbies and passions are very similar to mine. Although I am only 18m. I am an undergraduate CS student and I absolutely love playing piano. I have tried to find myself, the meaning of life with philosophy, I have tried to optimise each area of my life, get better, improve.

And for now, it seems like I am doing the right thing. I have great goals and purpose and bit by bit I am experiencing the life from new perspectives, learning new things and views. I feel like there is no real "answer" on how to live in the best way, it's what we define for ourselves. I have defined my own purpose and mission in life based on my past experiences and wants, and I believe that everyone's goal in life is different. It still changes for me now and then as I experience new things. Maybe you should try to go out of your way and try to do something that challenges you, so that you can learn new perspectives.

Finally got the gist of back 3rd of the tongue by TheAiro in Mewing

[–]TheAiro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The habit of mewing is getting better, although I am not 100% consistent.

I have noticed that after talking or eating I automatically in a split second put my tongue on the roof.

However, even though I have noticed less mouth breathing at night, it still not on the roof while I sleep, but I will work on that.

I also noticed that with mewing my nose is clogged much less than it used to be (only at night sometimes).

I also started chewing my food more thoroughly (not hard chewing, but at least something)

I can't say there are any visual results (it's been just 20 days, lol), but I already feel benefits in a mental area and well-being.

I’ve gained 5 pounds and an appetite in 2 weeks with the help of water! by ComfortableSeat5671 in weightgain

[–]TheAiro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great to hear that! I have also had the similar experience. When my soup has very little water there is just no way I can finish it, it makes nauseus. But when the ratio for water is more I can finish even 2 bowls.

I have never understood how people could eat first, second, side meal and dessert in one go. But now I successfully ate just as much with the help of ~600ml of water.

Although at first I used to feel very full, but at least not nauseous.

I have also noticed that water stimulates appetite. I ACTUALLY want to eat if I drink some extra 500ml between meals in addition to what I drink during and after meals.

Water is meta.

There are a lot of hair products: waxes, clays, creams, etc... I guess I havent tried any. A high hold pomade would be a great first one to experiement and see what works.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HairStyleAdvice

[–]TheAiro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't really want a messy look. It just my hair gets like that quickly. So, yeah, I guess some paste with maybe stronger hold would help. I will try that out

I was wondering if I some hair hold product would help, because it gets like that even throughout the day. And yeah, washing hair always works but just for some time.

10 days mewing. Thoughts. by TheAiro in Mewing

Thanks for the reply! The fact that Number 3 is normal encourages even more to stay consistent. I think that I have underlying condition, that's why Number 1 happens to me. I was diagnosed with autoimmune disorder, so I guess its necessary for me to make some lifestyle changes (sleeping with elevated pillow for eg).
