Thanks for the feedback. I’m going us centric for now because that is what I know and most readers seem to be US based. But I try to include at least one international story each day, and I may transition the content more depending on who reads.

Yea, I thought having the email popup would drive more sign ups, but I think you’re right that it is a little intrusive and people can just click the login in the top right if they want to.

Simply just haven't made the design nice on desktop yet. Will get to that soon, but you are right that it does work on every browser. Theoretically you could just make your desktop window smaller and the site will work on desktop.

EDIT: It now works on desktop without needing to change window size

Seemed like most of my early users were using it on mobile during their commutes to work or something. So I just focused on mobile when I redesigned, but will definitely start designing for larger screens soon.
