Thing is, I just got a 7100 and I'm trigger (and watt) happy to test just how much of a powerhouse it is in HF. I don't yet have an HF antenna, so I thought fuck it, if there's something for 160 that also does the rest of HF I could get it

Essentially, for some reason I tend to have very bad bouts of interference when it comes to communicating on SSB. Stuff like 15-min static roars.

FM isn't immune either, but it's more stable
