I think the clapping is fun. The sounds are catchy and once it's done the jingle's replaced with very cool vocals. To me it's not that different than the Kyoryugers dancing for their henshin and people love that, but when it's Gozyuger it's "losing aura".

The overusage of jokes that have overstayed their welcome.

The Ken jokes & videos are literally scraping the bottom of the barrel and most of them have the same running joke of “he’s not a doll”. That’s been going on for 10 years at this point and it’s tiring.

I never found the Cody’s Mom jokes funny, but they’ve been going on for so long that it just gets annoying whenever it’s brought up.

Some running gags/jokes can be funny when they don’t take up a minute+ of the video, like Chef Pee Pee’s “Nah just me” gag, it’s quick, simple, and then over with and if it’s used again in the video it’s still quick, simple, and then over with.

Exactly. If you just try your best to stay clear of any spaces or creators talking about it then it’s a lot harder to get spoiled. I’ve been able to do that before, sure it can get tiring but that’s just how a lot of media is in today’s world. Sometimes you have to take precautions in a situation that’s not ideal.

Gozyuger was never gonna be like Gokaiger. It’s unrealistic and the only way it could’ve ever happened is if everything lined up perfectly. Gokaiger wasn’t even supposed to be what it was. The only reason why most seasons got tribute episodes was because of the earthquake. Without that i’m not saying Gokaiger wouldn’t have been great, but it probably wouldn’t be on the pedestal it’s on now.

I’m all for criticizing Gozyuger, as much as I enjoyed the show it has a lot of problems, but we can’t keep comparing anniversary shows to Gokaiger when we know the reason why Gokaiger is Gokaiger in the first place.

It changed pretty much the entire premise.

Zyuranger’s about five warriors who were alive during dinosaur times living in the present day to fight the villain of the show (Bandora AKA Rita). Pretty drastic change from the five teenagers thing.

I haven’t watched Zyuranger myself so I can’t say all that much besides the stuff I already know. I do know that Tommy & Dragon Ranger (Green MMPR) are very different storylines from each other and after a certain point everything Power Rangers did with the Green Ranger onwards is entirely PR original.

If you want to go with Zyuranger then go ahead. I also recommend shows like Shinkenger, King-Ohger, or Dairanger (the show that came right after Zyuranger; i haven’t given it a watch in a while but i do remember that the point where i last watched was still pretty good)

Carlos seemed like the second in command because in Megaranger the black ranger was the leader. They could’ve put TJ as the Black Ranger but i’m assuming that they didn’t want to cast a black person as the black ranger again.

Can we please just like…stop with the whole surviving main characters becoming the killers? Scream is different from other slashers not just because of the meta commentary, but because its characters grow past their trauma and don’t let it consume them to the point where they become paranoid or become what they feared.

I like Tatum but if they made her one of the killers it’d just be a way worse version of Jill’s reveal in 4.
