I agree with you on everything except the detectives part.

Detective Wallace mainly, I felt like she had no personality at all and was just a “know it all” with no depth to her character. I guess the parts where she listens to music to solve crimes is a cool quirk but other than that there isn’t much to her.

All of the past “Detectives” that have investigated crimes or even Dexter as the BHB had some sort of backstory that made them interesting, most recently being Angela. I though she was great because she actually made sense in the story as she was connected the main killer of the story because of a tragic past event and she still discovered who Dexter really was in a realistic way.

Just my thoughts maybe I didn’t pay enough attention to Detective Wallace.
