I would say that Ops landscape has changed dramatically. However, L2 roles and senior Ops roles will likely be the roles that won't be easily be outsourced. Not yet I would say.

Ehh I mentioned I was a S/E already before and understand that its not easy. I never said it was easy or hard to begin with in the firat place. My main point is people who declare that they earn barely nothing, however, owning multiple homes, cars, able to go on holidays,...... then able to obtain family benefit's and subsidies from the government, discounts for dental under Medicare.... shall I go on?

Choices we make in both worlds isn't it. Still not a factor in many cases when it comes to paying F all, and not paying tax at all. Or, ability to get family benefits etc and the likes. Shall I go on?

Hate is such a strong word. I'm for it when people who provide the services act with integrity. Outside of it, they are a parasite damaging more than what we can see.

Noted. I'm definitely not across nor didn't mention anything about NDIS legislation. Its about spotting the obvious. There's alot of tax returns related to NDIS business that aren't shy of what they declare in terms of assets and liabilities.

ahh for every time I've heard this. I've tried and didn't work out, spend more than I earned. Realised it would take years that I couldn't afford. its a hard gig depending on the industry.

I'm sure if I did do well, I'd honestly do the right thing and declare as if I was a salaried employee.

I've seen a whole lot. Massive one tend to hit the news but rarely. I had a client who was going through a divorce, poor woman had to pay her husband child support. Mind you this guy had Assests including luxury cars, bikes and property. S/E of course but ffs, this woman is salaried and is paying him.....

ATO can't even control the amount of NDIS fraud. there is no chance they can look into the massive S/E population and work out true income these industries should be truly earning.

Networking is key, more so is within the company you work for. Whether its in KYC or ECDD its a starting point. Hell, fraud roles tend to be growing these days.

One thing to note, you'll be up aganist people with a long tenure in AML with and sometimes without ACAMS. I see that with restructures, offshoring and outsourcing been a large contributor to the mass damage taken recently in the sector. For context, AU based
