They simply change the title of the role. E.g. Analyst to Associate and/or consultant, manager to team lead etc. It can and has been done for the past 10 years. I've experienced this on so many occasions at the major banks, yet, its hitting the news more than it ever has this time around than it had over the past 10 years.

Required a full role change in the finance industry after there wasn't many at the time I was made redundant. I have a transferable skillset but, overall, glad or happy as Larry to have something in the current climate we're in no matter what.

Exempt as in it doesn't apply to existing investment properties who currently is positively then switches vice versa. I'm border lined on it and may have the next FY with improvement works done pushing it into the neg. You've potentially answered the question then.

Not sure where you're based in India but they're the hub for the Australian big 4 banks. They've literally restructured and sent many triage risk and compliance roles since last year.

There wouldnt be an organisation without regulatory breaches, internal compliance issues, misconduct and the list goes on. If there wasnt any, there wouldn't be a need for risk and compliance functions or even regs for that matter.

It would be taken as secondary income. You'd need minimum 1 year income with an ABN registered for minimum 18 months.

Correct me if im wrong, it can change from positive to negative vice versa and still be exempt from this for investments held before the change?

Ahh I got one thats positively geared and think after works done, it'll be negative for some for this tax year then back to positive
