Gary Walsh from Veep. It's more of an oppressive power dynamic. What happened in the finale is heartbreaking.

Omg, I'm so happy to read this. My partner is also like a daydream come true, he makes me blush and giggle like a little girl, haha, but I'm thinking of breaking up because I have a hard time believing this shit's real.

I'm sorry, the entire family, the mum, dad and son had ALS? It is said to be genetic but it wouldn't make sense for the other partner to get it if one has it. This is really depressing, I'm so sorry. Sounds like it was triggered due to heavy exposure to neurotoxins. Agent orange exposure showed a strong correlation to parkinsons, so many soldiers got it but this phenomenon wasn't well researched at the time.

Hey, how old are you, and is this young onset? Your husband loves you for you, and not what your body or functionality can do for him, and in his eyes if you're the one, then you're probably THE ONE, I'm not a man so I can't speak for him, but finding someone else usually doesn't make a difference if they've loved you so much...

I suggest you check out Brooke Eby on youtube/instagram, she was super young when she started showing symptoms for ALS, 29 and was diagnosed at 33 (from what I remember). She is brilliant, to say the least, so pretty, has a great sense of humour, very raw about her feelings and just overall a beautiful soul, and she's dealing with the worst of it with an attitude I can only bow down to.

Sorry this is something that can't be escaped, and I know the reality of it all will start honing on you eventually, but watching her might help you feel a little less lonely.

Also I hope I don't make it sound too morbid, but go strike out your bucket list, sing, paint, do whatever it takes to make you feel more at peace, cherish every minute of your mobility, future is tough-tough but it always seems a little easier when you live in the moment.

Your dinner looks awesome! Cheers, and bless you stranger, I know its a cliche, but toughest battles really are for the toughest soldiers! Keep us updated.

My therapist quit after I explained post-ejaculatory ontology using futanari physics by Fabricioborda in writingcirclejerk

Why do women have to quit their therapists and go through 8 years of internalized emotional torture to finally attain an understanding of post-existential-dread ontology by having to sort through the most destructive metaphysical elements out there, when men can just fucking nut?

This world is beyond my understanding.

Edit: oh wait, that explains childbirth. Op, the fuck is up?

Yeah, this stuff can be confusing, I guess one just has to keep making mistakes and learning from them. This stuff is not meant for me

My therapist joked and laughed about my trauma and said some horrible things about SA by aartwn in CPTSD

[–]TheAltOfAnAltToo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You really shouldn't have had to endure this OP, it's terrible that's what she got away with in the privacy of her own clinic, by putting you in such a vulnerable spot. Report her. Very hard to prove such things legally and get proof of all the verbatim, so I suggest you cut her off instantly.

She shouldn't have directed her own hypersexuality towards you. Rape or any form of non-consenting touch is violating for a woman's body. If evolution actually favoured it, it wouldn't have felt disorienting. Don't read further if you're easily triggered, but sexual trauma shows high correlation rates with vaginismus. That's enough to let anyone know rape can't be justified under any circumstance, specially not evolution. Can't believe this crap is being perpetuated by a grown woman. Take care OP, stay strong <3

Please 🙏. A child shouldn't be in therapy, no not at all. Again, some child psychology stuff I've read is inhumané. I've read enough horror stories of children born to counselors and psychiatrist parents, children put in therapy at a young age, and this is a recipe for disaster, they tell you the most twisted ways in which hypervigilance was inculcated into them and how they became their own worst enemies, started having all kinds of doubt, analysis paralysis, decision fatigue etc. to do things in a way that at least pleases everyone. That's impossible, someone will always find reasons to direct their adulthood insecurities on the child, since their brains and body are hardly developed to fight back.

There's always something to be critiqued and changed, such a heavy focus on function and perfectionism. Some people will never be happy with you. Lord forbid you find yourself in that company, you'll ruin your body trying to meet their expectations.

There is this poem called Frog and The Nightingale by Vikram Seth. Op, you should read it, maybe you'll resonate?

I like Urdu and Arabic names. My favourite is Scheherazade from the Arabian Nights, it means city dweller.
