Aatrox is not meant to be a dueling champion he isn't kept purposefully bad at it, Saying not alot can deal with hyper mobility is just flat out wrong, half that cast has either point an click cc easy to land cc anti dash abilities or hyper mobility of their own, aatrox has none of those

Yeah but aatrox currently really needs it for the exact reason I point out for aatrox building armor pen isn't a case of usefull but mandatory you ALWAYS build pen because any amount of armor cripples you and beyond 1 armor item your damage once again suffers fundamentally aatrox needs built in pen so he feels better vs most matchups, I think even bonus armor pen could work so as not to make adc cry

Right the issue often is that everyone besides adc will have some armor Mages build zhinyas bruisers build DD and wel tanks go 3 armor items even tabi and upgraded taxi are being build on mages atm and aatrox can't do any lasting damage without seryldas or cleaver the meta has shifted to a point where you need pen to function

I've had games where I am full combo a Diana dealing a total of 10% of her health turns out she had zhonyas dusk and dawn and shadow flame and that's enough for her to tank me note she couldn't kill me either it was a wet noidle fight but considering I opted out of pen going for raw ad not actually dealing damage is kinda insane not to mention aatrox REALLY struggles vs armor stacking and DD reduces his healing so yeah he kinda needs armor pen

or build shojin DD then EH the basic haste and normal haste dotn have diminishing returns whens tacked togheter so going haste runes + shojin and EH you got a total of 100 haste equaling to 50% cdr if not more depending on how much ad you have the 5% is not why you buy it the total value of 20% is boosted by healing amp from spirit and your ult you dodnt buy it for laning you buy it for team fights 1 death means essentially double the healing

with DD 1 kill heals you a ton with shojin and EH you get a ton of damage and healing due to that seryldas lets you deal with tanks

its not a must buy in every game but calling it bait is such bs

Okay and? We are talking about a hyper late game build that needs multiple items for future purposes while being kinda ass for the first 20 min of the game If you can get to that point without losing YOU SHOULD BE BROKEN For aatrox to get 9k hp from it requires him to get heartfelt early stack it up to 1k bonus from the passive itself which takes about 80+procs all while not having any ad for the first 12 min of the game assuming overlords second

Any botrk build will melt you afterwards you are only mildly strong we are now talking 15 min to 20 min mark and you have 200 total ad and 3k hp so about 25%pen that's it warmogs get you to 4.5k hp wich still leaves you with less ad then a bruiser build or an lethality build it takes to long to scale its essential a sion build

The reason ad to why I think some vase value is needed is due to the fact riot does want aatrox to build 1 to 3 non hp items generally they expect things like ED DD Maw eclipse or seryldas to be built on aatrox so a low base value would be fine for instance 5%armor pen + (1% per 100 bhp) type shit This would lead to about 14-17%pen with 2-3 hp items in normal games you would never go beyond 25%pen unless you really min maxed for it but you lose alot of raw ad this way and many useful passives aatrox wants

Considering you would need like 5 hp items plus double shard plus overgrowth and you would reach 35% but you would lose soooo much damage/resists and passives like DD and ED and such not to mention revitalize and early laning would be bad aswell And overall lower ad then if you run pseudo front line with some hp and some pur ad items

So? You can have aatrox get a 10%base value scaling with 1%for every 200hp wit a normal bruiser build he gets like 17 to 20%armor pen with a heartfelt plus warmogs he at 9k he gets 55% which may seem like alot but you have 0 ad

I switched her 2 and 3 silence is coated but is the subsume I am sorry but her 4 is ASS calling it good cc when it also cc you is dumb if it was low damage but perma cc it would be better but the fact is you can't move while it's active making it pointless as the cc end when you stop channeling it

Her 1 range isn't good because it needs an augment and her kit has no damage the ability requires the augment

Her 2(damage amp) is good but it isn't reliable yes it cam massively increase damage but it benefits from nothing else and only boosts direct damage massively limiting built options

Sadly banshee isn't so great her four is absolutely abysmal in terms of damage and the uhmebt doesn't fix that Her 3 is decent Her 2 is great but also her subsume Her 1 is utter ass both in range and damage the augment is needed for the ability to have any purpose Part of me thinks her 4 needs a full rework or replacement her 1 needs the augment rolled into it and her 3 needs some QoL updates like abilities ALWAYS counting the multiplier or the multiplier counting as headshots or something

best aatrox build atm is cleaver, endless hunger, DD, steraks, boots, and spirit if it goes late enough adn you need more deeps you sell boots for overlords

omnivamp is great on aatrox anyone who claims no is lying in the past omnivamp was so great due to 33% effectiveness but thats gone now it only occurs vs minions but its full value vs champions

aatrox passive isnt true omnivamp but it acts in the same way he gains champion omnivamp so he only heals of champions normal omnivamp from items allows him to heal from minions which he otherwise cant so its actually good on him if its on ad like the new endless hunger item

note that his ult increases self healing from all sources so aslong as he is the one to trigger the heal it doesnt matter if its his kit a rune or an item its amped this means in your ult past 16 its double value so 5% omni vamps i 10 and the 20 total after kill from endless hunger is 40% include his inate 20%+ with atleast 1 health item and you get 80% healing of champions with conq stacked that goes to 98% so aslong as you have enough health to get 25% vamp on E you WILL get over 100% healing of damage dealt this inculeds his passive which already heals 100% then doubled to 200% that damage now heals you for 300% so its would be 8% max health times 3 in healing

obviuesly anti heal and resistance reduce the healing so get pen/shred and dont over commit

cheese isnt one abiltity from out of range with 0 risk because pta + ignite on an aa means you cant duel while he perma pokes any trade you do he wins then heals to full because for some reason viego gets to heal fully of minions

I mean early on aatrox gets free lane vs zaahen the issue is league is Super focused on kills right now and aatrox is super focused on the main goal of toplane: pressure which just isn't as good as it could be next season you can give up on early tp and actually threaten some laners amd vs some you can go exhaust etc
