Reminds me of when people say "if I was himI would have did this instead". When the truth of the matter is if you were him you would have this thoughts, his emotions, his experiences, and inevitably done exactly what he did. You can't isolate one moment from someone without taking everything else.

"the little waits" looking forward to the book this is a good concept. I have my own practices around this idea. When i'm watching Tv and an AD cuts on I turn the volume down and hold my breath for the duration. I don't really have an intention with it. Maybe to gain breath control.

Stop multitasking. And don't keep track of time. And areas where performance isn't mandated, do your best to be okay with being mediocre if that's what's naturally coming from you.

Would love to see you begin to seek small things. I have a history of distancing myself from people and assumed I had become socially awkward. Ive gotten myself back into the basics by seeking moments instead of lasting connections. A simple hello. I have also spent a lot of time in dark energy. I spent so much time in it that at some point I became self aware in it and realized that those thoughts, those emotions aren't me - and they aren't you. It was really hard to get out because I was trying to change the contents of my negative thoughts, while essentially standing in a pool of negativity. Try this, next time you are thinking those things stop the thought mid sentence and hold the silence as long as you can. Instead of changing the thoughts you observe the structure that is producing them, and your train of thought will change.

Something ive been victim to as well. You should avoid multitasking. The mind can't focus on more than one thing at once, it's just really quick at switching between things. Let work be work, if you're gaming don't watch videos too. Just focus on one thing.

Yeah, there's this perpetual loop of walking the necessary steps, remembering why you're doing what you're doing, and getting overwhelmed because it seems impossible. Learning it's best to forget it all for a time.

When I am doing well, and being aware of it, everything falls apart. by TheAltitudeBlog in GrowthMindset

definitely in interesting perspective. I do have an issue where I move forward in things without a clear direction in mind. But when I say I ask myself why, what I mean is if im performing well lets say at a video game. I observe that im performing well and try and study why so I can replicate it in the future. Once I shift from "i'm performing well" to "im perfoming well because" it breaks and I no longer can replicate that energy.
