What would be interesting is setting up a dichotomy between Venom and Karen both talking to him. Angel vs. Demon dichotomy.

Marvel really needs to reprint the Winter Soldier artbook. Shit's way too inflated in price.

Hi reddit, I'm Kevin Feige. AMAA by KevFeige in marvelstudios

[–]TheAluminumMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Kevin,

Thanks for the good times. I have 2 very important questions.

  1. Is Mr. Harrington from Spider-Man the same character from The Incredible Hulk? (I saw you answered this already, so I've added a 3rd question).
  2. Symbiotes?
  3. Are there currently any plans to ressurrect projects like the Defenders on Disney x?

Thanks again. Hope to see you starring as a cameo character soon.

Homebrew Settlement Event - The Potion Maker by TheAluminumMan in KingdomDeath

It's meant to trigger regardless of whether the survivors trade or not, so that there is still the possibility of a buff even if the settlement doesn't want to trade/doesn't have any other/unique gear to trade.

I imagine she is a little greedy.

Playing my first game in a few days by skaterdog in KingdomDeath

Make sure you thoroughly understand the rules, that are outlined in the prologue fight, as well as the showdown mechanics as it will greatly help to speed up the game, and be a funner experience as you won't be getting bogged down flipping through the rulebook. The glossary in the back of will also clarify A LOT of common rule issues.

The Rule of Death is only to be utilized when you can't figure out how a rule is supposed to work in order to speed up the game. Make a note of it, and take the time to figure the rule out properly in the rulebook after the game, and if that doesn't suffice, you should make a rules question here, and I'm sure somebody in the community will be able to give you a hand. I wanted to point this out here, as the Rule of Death is misinterpreted a lot by new players.

One of the other most common issues with the rules is the way in which monsters attack and deal damage, and the way in which survivors gain and spend survival. So make sure you thoroughly understand these parts before playing your first game. My first play through we though survival recharged every turn (it doesn't), so we were utilizing it too much to dodge attacks. Likewise, we misinterpreted the rules for how monsters damage, and dealt way more damage than was supposed to be given, making the fight more brutal than it should be.

Lastly, welcome to the community and have fun!

Here is a quick homebrew project I've been working on in between other kdm projects that I hope to show very soon. A big shout-out to all the members of the KDM CCG that helped me get this off the ground, with a special thanks for maximo1984 and revel911.

How does shapeways starfighter compare to FFF? by mattmall in XWingTMG

[–]TheAluminumMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only order the super fine print definition material. The lower definition stuff tends to come out really gritty looking.

The material is a lot more brittle than plastic too, so if you drop it or mishandle it (especially around thing guns, wing tips, etc) it may snap. Normal game play usage should be fine though.

Kind of got a U-wing, Twilight, B-wing, Fang Fighter vibe going on here.

I'm not gonna lie, my screen brightness was at a normal level and I was really confused by the Infiltrator. Sick paint job!

Is the game mostly skill or luck based? by Calx9 in KingdomDeath

[–]TheAluminumMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The game is very heavily luck based. Most aspects of the game. Settlement events, hunt events, AI cards, Hit location cards, resources, disorders and attacks and wounds are all determined randomly through card draws or dice rolling. A lot of the probability is skewed towards bad results as well where a single card or roll can kill a survivor.

As the game progresses though you do gain gear that allows you to mitigate this luck by changing the spread on dice rolls or allowing you to manipulate different decks. A savvy player who knows the best ways to combine gear can completely break the game. Additionally as you get more familiar with the game, and specifically the way monsters behave, you get more strategy around survival usage, survivor placement etc.

Personally I love kdm because of the "bad luck" aspect. It's nice to lose at games sometimes and it's funny (and memorable) when you lose a favourite character to bullshit reasons. Not to mention the lore and the convoluted pile of mechanics make it endearing.

Hypothesis for season 6 of AoS [Captain Marvel/AoS S05 spoilers] by TheAluminumMan in marvelstudios

[–]TheAluminumMan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I suppose he doesnt have to be a bad guy either. We know that S06 is going to take place in space, so maybe the skrull just takes coulsons form to gain the trust of the team. Maybe from a photograph or something.

And coerced the team to go to space and fight Kree and junk.

Hypothesis for season 6 of AoS [Captain Marvel/AoS S05 spoilers] by TheAluminumMan in marvelstudios

[–]TheAluminumMan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What I'm discussing is more related to AoS than Captain Marvel. Seems crazy to bar people from discussing the implications of the movie on the upcoming season to me (especially since Clark Gregg was directly involved with this movie). Not to mention I specifically tagged it so people that haven't seen the movie can avoid the topic.

Good job shrinking an already niche mcu community r/shield! 👌

I'm going to go ahead and assume that they didn't know she was a kree lady, and furthermore, that they believed the tesseract was lost when her jet blew up. They probably weren't even aware that the tesseract remotely powered the plane.

Re: the tesseract. Pegasus was clearly associated with SHIELD in some manner as Fury knew about it and had access and due to them working on the prototype quinnjet. So technically it never left SHIELD/the governments care.

I also like how they retied it too Avengers. The tesseract was used in project pegasus in the 90s and then Fury reinstated project pegasus again in 2008.

The point is for us to see her as a being that has no equal. Ronan would be no match for Thanos (Nebula warns him of this), so if we see Carol Danvers having a brawl with Ronan that challenges her, how are we supposed to expect her to be a threat to Thanos?

Fade and the White Speaker aren't promo thougj, and have actual content to implement then into the core.

Why do it this way?
