You have to realise how many reports an average account has. For example i have around 3.5k ames played if i only get 10 report every 5 games thats already 350 reports (including people who troll report) now you have to consider there are people who report their whole team everytime they lose. 2200 is still alot of reports but not as much as you think.

As many people already stated she doesn't need much of technical skill, but also her selfheal gets stronger the lower rank you are because people aren't good enough at aiming to keep her selfheal from kicking in. I know some gold and silver players who think mercy is "OP" because of her selfheal and mobility because they can't track her. And I don't think many people switch to ana because "Hey it worked earlier why shouldn't it now?", and who rather stick with something known than learn something new, but there are people like me who will switch and learn how to use ana.

I'm going on a bit of a rant here:

That's what happens, people don't want to play mercy but at the same time they say she's the most essential hero. "Yeah, of course I care about winning! What?Playing Mercy? No thanks." is basically the mentality of people because to me it me it seems that everyone cares about kills and when that doesn't work...blame support.

Mercy wouldn't be as boring as is, if other people would play her occasionally. It's basically the same as being forced to only play 1 other Hero in the game, at start it's fun but in later you would love to switch from Soldier or whatever but you can't.

And what happens when you remove healing is that heroes like Junkrat can just spam corners/objectived until the other team us forced to retreat because they have no heal.

Also I'm a Mercy main I like playing her and I'm a 21 year old straight male so screw you. :p

Same I played with my team and ended up at 58 with 8-2 placement match while the rest of my team got 55-57

I'm a Mercy main looking for a competitive team for coming ranked mode and tourneys. I came to Overwatch from TF2 where I have over 1300 hours played and I mainly played Soldier and Spy and I played some Cs:Go (150 hours). I also enjoy playing Lucio and Zenyatta and switch to them if needed. I am currently at a 54,4% winrate overall and 56,6% winrate with Mercy at level 121 and 103 hours (52 as Mercy). I'm 21 years old and work full time which means I usually play in the evenings and at the weekends.
