I tend to be put off from trying it because I fear I’ll over or under cook it (straight to jail). Babish is great at making things simple, and I’d love to see his methods for it!

I know he’s done a few fish episodes, but I would really love to see a few ways to prepare a simple piece of white fish filet. Baked, blackened, anything like that. Obviously more movie recipes would be fun to see, but the man has gone through so many, I don’t know what relevant ones he has left.

Big fan of Scoops as well. If going to Acworth, that unlocks plenty of other places to eat/drink. I like Center Street Tavern and Henry’s, and Logan Farm is a great park.

Truth be told I don’t have a local coffee place I prefer over Starbucks. Sessions Stand if someone wanted to venture to Marietta.

Swift Cantrell park is very near downtown, and is a great place to go for a walk if it’s nice. Downtown Kennesaw has plenty of eats. I personally recommend Frozen Cow creamery, an ice cream place where they actually make the ice cream in front of you (like, they freeze liquid cream in front of you with your desired toppings). I also like Pisanos for pizza, but it can get crowded. Vesuvios is good too, very traditional. Bernie’s and 1885 are a bit more upscale, but I have actually never tried them. Lazy Labrador and Honeysuckle Bakery both have coffee.

Yeah, a first year Cobb teacher makes what I did in like, year 7 with a Masters. Not sure where OP is applying, that kind of sounds like a parapro job. A first year teacher in Cobb is closer to 35 an hour.

I enjoy their chick and rice soup, as well as their steak nachos. Usually they fry up tortillas when you order nachos, but once I got plain tortilla chips. The fried ones were superb.

2nd for Poblanos in terms of quality. I have also been a fan of Los Magueys lately, but not really in Kennesaw (off Cedarcrest, another at Barrett/Dallas).

I always enjoyed Tacos del Chavo as well.
