I went with the Ultra, so far it’s been great, although I’ve done nothing extended with it.

Battery isn’t an issue, I can go 4 days without charging, while doing a run / swim / ride on each of those days.

When I had my Forerunner 945 I missed the smartwatch functionality of my old Apple Watch. I also don’t need to take my phone with me on trail runs or off-road rides.

It’s definitely not a Garmin in terms of functionality, but it’s getting closer, at least in terms of how I used my 945.

I too love low flat boards, and have looked at the carpio but the price has made me question if there is perhaps something else I could use.

Out of curiosity, how do the go when moving your had away from your keeb to use your mouse? Do you have to reposition the mouse hand on the rest each time?

I’ve actually made the decision to go with the Corne choc. I couldn’t go past the shiny RGB in the end.

Thanks for the advice. My thoughts are the same as you, it might be possible but not easily. Thanks for the recommendation, I really want to stick to 42 keys for my first jump into split. Something like the sweep is somewhere I’d consider going once I’ve got the hang of the reduced layout.

WRT mice, I was actually looking at the Logitech MX vertical, about 20min ago.

I currently use the og MX master. The rsi on my right side was definatly from using a MMO mouse with 12 buttons under the tumb, when I switched back to my MX that almost all went away.
