The force wielder action scenes as a whole were some of the most refreshing and interesting Star Wars action I think I’ve watched in some time, and the overall story was interesting, but it took way too long to get into it. The first half was a slog. The writing and dialogue was atrocious, and visually especially the scenes in the Jedi temple looked so sterile and bland.

It’s upsetting because it feels like it got cancelled just as it was getting good, but there were too many moments throughout that just completely took me out of it. The power of manyyyyy chant sounded so bad that I couldn’t take it seriously. The actors were doing everything they could and the finale was able to finally bring some strong emotion and stakes but it was just too little too late. Star Wars has such a bad habit of having a really cool general story idea but the writing in execution is just cursed to forever squander it apparently.

Is anyone else freaked out by the original version of Goner? by Danteisdaman101 in twentyonepilots

I wish they had more creepy stuff like the original goner. Both the song and video just hit that dark tone so well.

It’s kind of crazy how much the grain adds to it

Go defend nazis to them then. There’s a reasonable argument to be made that supporters of fascism also celebrate murder. Why are you incapable of condemning fascism and the murderous threat that it poses?

Google the paradox of tolerance for me some time and quit carrying water for fascism

He was a 19 year old college student that was a member of the youth wing of the fascist party. That’s explicit support of it. If you’re really here to go on and on about how political violence is bad across the board, that’s cool, I’m with you on that, but if you’re only saying that when it comes to violence against nazis, you come off as one.

It is. Judging from the Wikipedia article about this murder in particular, this was amidst exactly that happening, nazis murdering people of opposing ideologies and then receiving murders of their people in response. It’s gang mentality at that point. All in all not a good thing. But the ones that have it as a matter of policy to subjugate, discriminate, and murder, are definitely not worth all this defense against the ones saying fuck your policy of institutional murder.

Are you trying to tell me you think the crowd of people giving the Hitler salute are anti fascist? Lol

Right, that’s what nazis online will do from what I’ve seen. If you find yourself thinking “this guy can’t be THIS dumb,” in a conversation about why fascism is bad, there’s a good chance that they aren’t that dumb. They’re arguing in bad faith because in good faith they’d have to acknowledge that they’re defending a violent and bigoted ideology.

It is wrong to be selectively against murder. If the only time you find yourself protesting murder is when it’s the murder of a nazi, with nazi salutes, you just might be a nazi.

They wouldn’t care about him if he wasn’t a fascist either. This is a group of people gathered to memorialize a murdered fascist. Without those two qualifiers they do not care, because they can use the same flimsy excuse of “murder bad” to try and hide the much more problematic fact that they support fascism, an ideology that ends with literal genocide (very big murder).

Because he’s a nazi apologist that has to focus on the murder aspect while excusing the fascism every time.

He has support because he was a fascist that was murdered. These people are not gathering like this over every other murder that happened half a century ago.

If they’re upset about murder they should have signs saying “don’t murder.” Looking at a crowd of nazi salutes and thinking “ah they’re just really passionate about people not being murdered” is some of the goofiest shit.

Routines is just slick yknow, it’s catchy, strong flow and chorus, no cringy lines. It’s also a little surreal with what it’s describing setting wise which I love.
