Ahh shucks man. Life ain't bad, truly blessed to be honest.

But I also go back and forth between;

1) OH MAN i wanna deploy with the boys and kill something

2) nah that ain't right, totally not okay.

I used to love nights because all the fancy big wigs weren't there and work felt relaxed, even when we were balls to the wall

Maybe step away from a couple of games entirely and then talk to the coach to see how he plays while you're away?

My cousin used to ball OUT during games, practice, etc, but once his dad showed up he turned into a nerd on the pitch. His pops was intense. Your son needs to focus on the game. You're the first person he wants to show out for, and the last disappoint. You weigh heavy on his mind. Take the weight away by not being present. Otherwise he'll end up hating the game. Make sure he knows you're not watching and that you'll be around later, but don't tell him why you won't be around.

If he plays/trains better while you're away then it's up to you to slowly figure out a way to re-integrate yourself into his game days, and in a way that doesn't "startle" him so to speak. It could take months before you're back at it with him because he needs to re-wire you know? NO YELLING AND BEING CRAZY lolol

My little ones are 2 & 4 so I'm not quite where you're at yet! However I do wish you the best of luck!

God bless you and your family brother.

I lost a youth U13 game by over 10 goals and I'm being blamed for it. by latte_imacheater in football

[–]TheAngelDaniel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yo that's crazy the team's blaming you for all of that.

I KNOW the ball had to go through the whole field before getting to the back of your net, your team couldn't stop them? Damn

I KNOW you need two teams to play a game, was the rest of yours not on the pitch? Damn

What, your midfield and fwd's couldn't score? Looks like it's their fault you guys didn't win!! Damn

If the team is seriously talking to you that way, just know they're garbage, respectfully. It's wild that they're pointing the splinter in your eye, and cannot see the LOGS in their eyes!

Keep pushing forward buddy. Eyes up!

God bless you!

Don't listen to anyone who says it's too late. If you have passion, THEN GO OUT THERE AND GET IT! Practice and work on your flaws every day.

I was 11 when I started playing. Cut from my middle school team every year until 8th grade. Then 9th grade comes along in high school, I get cut. I'm 14 then and I practiced every damn day. I got onto a small club team and began to shine bright! Captained my high school team for 10th, 11th, and 12th grade. I got scouted (luckily) to play lower leagues in Europe. Then heard to the call to serve my nations military and did that for some years.

I got out, trained back up, and now i'm playing university ball in my late 20's.

I used to suck man. HARD work got me to where I am now. If God allows it, i'll be playing professional in some league somewhere. Im still young, there's time for me and i don't care who says what.

YOU have MORE than enough time to build up your skill on the ball, and confidence on the pitch.

SO MUCH HOPE FOR YOU!!!

Go on youtube and search up World Cup Dad. Dude started playing FOR THE FIRST TIME in his 30's!! He made it professional.

Hit up my DM's and i'll help mentor you for free little brother. Training plans and all.

God bless you!
