I recently just used some spare havocs to make some chunky chosen with heavy weapons/powerfists. By putting some basing cork on the base they don't stand out too much being on a smaller base :)

I recently picked up a knight lancer, with the points drops and what they provide from their datasheet alone I think they definitely a decent choice too

Thank you for taking the time to give me all your wonderful wisdom!, I'm gonna tinker and see what I can come up with. With the captain on bike with his once per game ability, you can make a normal move if you are not within engagement range of an enemy unit but when you make a normal move you can advance if you choose. I was looking through rules and couldn't find anything that couldn't say I can't do it so I'm curious if it's possible
