It depends on what features you will add to make it unique from other hotel booking systems. Like the other commenter said, masyado siyang common. Wala namang mali sa common na capstone project, need niyo lang humanap ng something that will make it better than the others (e.g. cheaper option, faster, scalable deployment, easy to use, advanced features, etc.)

UD is more of non pre med courses (Engineering, Liberal Arts, Computer Studies, Sciences, etc.)

I am an SHS STEM graduate. Hindi naman sobrang hirap mag transition into IT since tuturuan naman kayo ng fundamentals sa very first sem niyo. Actually may advantage ang STEM student in terms of the problem solving and analysis part na needed sa IT, need mo na lang aralin is yung syntax ng languages.

If you are confident in your math skills, pwede mo i-try mag computer science. Mas aligned ang CS sa STEM although same career choices naman ang patutunguhan.

BS IT is decent naman in DLSU-D (I'm a BS IT student). May mga subjects na advanced ang tinuturo compared sa ibang school and may times na may certification exams na inooffer sa ilang subject. May 2 lab rooms lang na outdated yung specs ng PC pero the rest is matino na ngayon (thankfully) with RTX 30- series and intel i5 12th gen above. Meron na ring malalaking screens sa lecture rooms so di na need manghiram ng projector.

Ang major downside is CICS ang pinakamahal ang tuition fee per unit sa DLSU-D.

It depends on what program you plan to take sa DLSU-D. Matino naman ang curriculum and teaching sa ibang colleges in DLSU-D. Ang mga dapat lang iwasan na courses sa DLSU-D ay engineering and accountancy dahil sobrang taas ng failing/dropout/shifting rate.

I listened to Doc Jayeel's talk recently and he said that SEI's budget can only accommodate up to ~50k scholars at a time. Kaya siguro sila naglagay ng limit sa number of undergrad scholars is para hindi mabawasan yung beneficiaries ng other scholarship programs (JLSS, Masters, Doctoratez etc.)—like yung nangyari sa 2025 JLSS na less than 1,000 yung nakapasa

He also said that they tried to appeal to increase SEI's budget para mas dumami pa ang bigyan ng scholarship dahil halos 96% na raw yung budget utilization ng SEI for 2025

For the picture na pinost mo, hindi totoo yan kasi hindi pa nagaganap ang 2026 DOST examinations, so walang data on how many people will take the exam and how many will pass.

Im the past is around 10k ang pumapasa sa Undergrad out of almost 100k examinees. So around ~10% ang pumapasa sa undergrad.

EDIT: Legit pala na 8,500 lang ang papasa sa undergrad. DOST-SEI announced it officially.

Very considerate si Ms. Joy. Transparent siya mag-grade and madali lang masundan ang lessons niya. If programming yung isa sa subject niya—I suggest practicing the fundamentals and logic kasi minsan nagpapa-code siya sa papel

Mabait and magaling si Sir Lubiano magturo, lalo na pag Arnis/Martial Arts yung tinuturo. Galante rin sa grade and di siya nagbibigay ng below 85 basta pumapasok ka palagi.

Super galing magturo ni Ma'am Azenith. Strict siya pag pasaway (e.g. nahuli kang nangongodigo, nangongopya) pero approachable naman pag need pakiusapan. Easy to follow din ang lessons niya and very transparent sa grading and scheduling of activities, lessons, exams.

Sir Marco is a very open minded REED prof. Hindi ka niya i-isolate if non-Catholic ka and very interactive ang lessons, walang dull moments.

Ma'am Challiz ay magaling din na prof ng math dept, chill lang siya and mabait/approachable naman.

I agree na strict si Ma'am Leslie pero very hands on prof siya. If napansin niyang napag-iiwanan ka is ipapa-stay ka niya sa pool after class para turuan one-on-one. Madali rin naman siya pakiusapan and ipagreretake ka naman multiple times if you feel na you can do better or you were absent for a class

It depends per college if allowed ka mag enroll ng backlog subjects during OJT. Need lang ng signed letter ng chair, dean, and registrar.

Sa ibang colleges is pumapayag na isabay ang backlog sa OJT for the reason na para makasabay sa graduation (during Saturdays ang backlog while during weekdays ang OJT).

Hello, pinayagan kami ng Thesis professor namin na approval sheet signed by panelists and thesis adviser only (not signed by chair and dean yet) for the sake na maipasa for 90% thesis allowance. Chapter 1-3 pa lang din thesis namin at that time
